Some Reddit testers saw a pop-up in the latest Apple Music for Android beta promising to “add saved music and playlists you made in other music services to your ‌Apple Music‌ library.” The same feature can also be triggered via in-app settings.

For what it’s worth, the SongShift website boasts widespread support for services like Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, Pandora, Deezer, etc.
SongShift has been around for years, letting folks transfer their music libraries and playlists between different streaming services. Having the same functionality accessible from the Music app on Apple devices will make it more prominent.

This is one of the features you think would be commonplace. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Switching from one music-streaming service to another often means leaving behind all the playlists you’ve spent years painstakingly building.
Let’s pretend you’re a streaming service. What incentive is there for you to make it easier for your customers to deflect to a rival service? None, that’s right. And given how greedy a corporation Apple has become, we’re not surprised it still doesn’t provide a feature to move your Apple Music library and playlists to another service.
