Welcome back for another edition of our Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have some great selections for you including a collaborative task manager, extra strength parental controls and a daily IQ tester. And as always, we’ve picked a fun new game for you to check out.
Tweek – To Do Weekly Calendar
Tweek is a personal and shared to do list app to organize your tasks and collaborate on them with your team or family. As you can tell by the screenshots it’s not brand new, but a recent 2.0 update brought about a number of new features and improvements. If you like the look and are in the market for a new productivity app like this, check it out!
Grace – Parental Control
This one is for all of the parents out there. iOS obviously has some parental controls built-in, but you can opt for even further control with Grace. The app allows you to remotely control your children’s screen time, block games & apps, app installation (and removal), in-app purchases and more.
SmartFriends: Brain Train Game
SmartFriends is a way to stimulate your brain every day. Each day the app issues an IQ challenge—everyone around the world gets the same one—and you see if you can beat others’ scores. The challenge can be a number sequence, a Matrigma test, or really anything to give your brain a workout. Have fun and improve your cognitive abilities? Yes please.
There once was a ship that put to sea, and the name of the ship was—sorry, I had to. Anyway, Abandon Ship lets you engage in piracy. You take command of an ‘Age of Sail’ ship and her crew and explore a vast, story-filled world that reacts to your decisions. Engage enemy vessels and sea monsters in brutal combat and become a hunted Captain.
