Listed as coming soon on the official Beats by Dr. Dre website, these earphones are created in partnership with the Canadian retailer Better. They work just like your regular sporty Powerbeats Pro, but anyone will be able to instantly tell that you’re wearing something special thanks to the red and blue ear tips featuring an NBA logo on the side.

For those wondering, the colorway is officially called “NBA75 Ivory.”

“The latest collaboration between Beats and the NBA brings a mix of nostalgia and everlasting quality with Canadian-based brand and retailer Better Gift Shop to create a special edition set of Powerbeats Pro,” reads the announcement. According to Complex.ca, styled Powerbeats Pro will be available beginning Saturday via the NBA online store in Canada and the Better Gift Shop in Toronto, as well as via a few US retailers.

On top of that, the regular Powerbeats Pro is currently sold on Apple.com with a deep discount: they regularly retail for $250 a pop, but Apple will now sell you a pair of these for just $179.95. The regular model is available in three colors: Ivory, Navy and Black. The Apple-owned Beats brand has had a global partnership with the NBA since 2018.

Here are the key features of the Powerbeats Pro:

  • Made for movement: Adjustable, secure-fit earhooks stay in place with multiple eartip options and are made to move with you, no matter where you go.
  • Sweat and water-resistant: A reinforced design for sweat and water resistance help you make it through whatever your day brings.
  • Up to 9 hours of listening time: Get 24+ hours of combined playback with the charging case, and use 5-minute Fast Fuel for 1.5 hours of playback when the battery is low.
  • Play one side or both: Auto play/pause, independent earbud connection via the Apple H1 chip, and full volume and track controls on each earbud mean you’re in charge of how you listen.

The original Powerbeats Pro model arrived in April 2019 for $250 a pair.

The truly wireless earbuds no longer have the wire between them and were powered by Apple’s H1 chip providing Hey Siri functionality, more reliable Bluetooth functionality, zero-configuration setup and more. A possible second-generation Powerbeats Pro model was spotted in regulatory filings back in May 2020 but has yet to make its public debut.
