Odyssey jailbreak for iOS 13.0-13.7 updated to v1.4.1 to resolve issues with A12 & A13 devices

Amid all the recent excitement surrounding jailbreak untether hype and the confirmation that one would be officially released on October 21st, there’s certainly a lot to look forward to. But for right now, it’s business as usual for jailbreak groups like the Odyssey Team.

In fact, Odyssey Team lead developer CoolStar visited the Sileo / Taurine / Odyssey Discord channel early Wednesday morning to announce an updated version of the iOS & iPadOS 13-centric Odyssey jailbreak tool.

From what we can gather, Odyssey v1.4.1 is now available to resolve an issue in which A12 and A13-equipped devices weren’t jailbreaking properly:

For those wondering, A12 and A13-equipped iOS & iPadOS handsets include the following:

  • iPhone XR
  • iPhone XS
  • iPhone XS Max
  • iPhone SE (2nd generation)
  • iPhone 11
  • iPhone 11 Pro
  • iPhone 11 Pro Max
  • iPad mini (5th generation)
  • iPad Air (3rd generation)
  • iPad (8th generation)
  • iPad (9th generation)

If you have any of the devices listed above and have been experiencing issues getting jailbroken on iOS or iPadOS 13.0-13.7 with the Odyssey jailbreak tool, then CoolStar affirms that Odyssey v1.4.1 should put an end to those issues.

As always, this official update is recommended for all Odyssey jailbreak users and can be installed by current Odyssey users either by running the jbupdate command or by visiting the GitHub page.

Odyssey v1.4.1 should be available to download from theodyssey.dev shortly.
