Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Lynx 2, MilkyWay 3, Sharecuts, & more…

It’s that time of the week again, and while things have definitely slowed down as we await a full-blown iOS & iPadOS 14 jailbreak with support for all compatible devices, that’s not to say that cool developments aren’t happening with each passing day.

In this roundup, we’ll showcase all the latest jailbreak tweak releases and news from Monday, December 14th to Sunday, December 21st. As usual, we’ll begin by showcasing our favorite releases first, and then wrap things up with a roundup of everything else at the end.

So without further ado, let’s go ahead and enjoy the Segway into some of our favorite releases from this past week:

Our favorite releases this week

Lynx 2

Lynx 2 is one of the most in-depth all-in-one system customization jailbreak tweaks available for the iPhone and iPad today.

It comes with options for customizing virtually every user interface available in iOS & iPadOS 14, and it even includes options for third-party apps that a lot of all-in-one tweaks competing with this one lack.

You can learn more about everything Lynx 2 brings to the table in our full review, and remember, it’s a free upgrade if you already own the original Lynx tweak.

MilkyWay 3 – $2.50

However you want to look at it, the iPhone’s multitasking experience leaves a lot to be desired. The system only allows you to use one app at a time, and the only reasonable accommodation made is the App Switcher, for rapidly switching from one recently-used app to another.

MilkyWay 3 solves this issue by making true multitasking a thing on jailbroken iPhones. It does this by allowing you to run apps side-by-side in a windowed fashion, just as you would on your Mac or Windows PC.

You can learn more about MilkyWay 3 and why this is a must-have for any jailbroken iPhone in our full review.

Sharecuts – FREE

You can already share your favorite Shortcuts with other iPhone and iPad users online, but Sharecuts is a new and free jailbreak tweak that lets you easily share them as files with your friends and family in close proximity.

The tweak adds a new button to the share interface via the Shortcuts app that lets you send your shortcut as a file. After doing so, the other person is easily able to import it to their Shortcuts app to use.

You can learn more about Sharecuts and why this is such a great tweak to have in our full review.
