Twelve South launches the ‘SuitCase’ for MacBook Air and MacBook Pro

In the market for a new case for your 13- or 16-inch MacBook Air/Pro? Twelve South just launched a new option that may be worth your while.

Twelve South has introduced the “SuitCase“, a case with an integrated carrying handle for the 13-inch MacBook Air/Pro and the 16-inch MacBook Pro. It’s a hard case, which means it will keep your MacBook protected during your daily use. But it also promotes a luxurious styling thanks to the quilted design on the outside.

The case is a thermoformed shell, and it features a water-resistant twill and wetsuit-styled zippers. That means even if you get caught in an unexpected rain storm, your MacBook Air or Pro will be safe inside the SuitCase. When you want to use your laptop, you can keep it in the case thanks to the innovative suspension system.

And that aforementioned handle? It’s a recessive leather design, so it feels good in the hand when in use and goes low profile when it’s not being used. The SuitCase is also thin and light, so it’s easy to slip in and out of a bigger bag when needed. And there is a pocket inside for any documents you might have, or even a USB-C cable.

The SuitCase from Twelve South is available now from the company’s website. It retails for $69.99 for the case that fits 13-inch models, while the 16-inch variant costs $79.99. As usual, Twelve South offers free shipping in the United States, a one year warranty, and 30-day returns.
