Be aware of phishing scams and other nefarious schemes designed to compromise your credit card details. If you believe you’re a victim of a scam involving your Apple Card, here’s what you need to do in order to report Apple Card fraud, right from your iPhone.
If you spot a transaction made with your Apple Card that you don’t recognize, your card may be compromised. There are countless ways you can fall for one of the credit card scams on the web. For instance, maybe you followed a link in a phishing email promising a huge discount on a popular product and foolishly typed your card details into a web form.
Credit card fraud is still a huge problem so no wonder that experts caution that banks should be taking more responsibility to prevent such criminal activity. Still, many millions of dollars have been lost to fraudsters who typically resort to various tricks to do their dirty work, from social engineering to exploiting Apple Pay loopholes left open by banks.
Even though the physical Apple Card has no card number, CVV security code, expiration date or signature printed on it, those details can be revealed in the Wallet app. Should a fraudster get hold of them, they could make illegal transactions on the web using your Apple Card.

How to report Apple Card fraud
Should you suspect fradulent activity on your Apple Card activity, you should immediately contact an Apple Card Specialist at Goldman Sachs by following the steps below.
1) Open the Wallet app on your iPhone with iOS 12.4 or later.
2) Tap Apple Card.
3) Hit the three-dotted More button.
4) Now tap the Message button.
5) Finally, chat with an Apple Card Specialist at Goldman Sachs and tell them you have reasons to suspect fraudulent activity in your Apple Card account.
As another precaution, you can lock your physical Apple Card to prevent fraud — especially if you’ve lost or misplaced the physical card. A locked card cannot be used to make purchases online. You’d be wise to ensure notifications from the Wallet app are on so that you can immediately tell if someone has just used your card to make an unauthorized purchase.
You will also need to contact an Apple Card specialist using the chat option in the Wallet app in case you’d like to close your Apple Card account, if your name or phone number changes, to dispute a transaction, request a new titanium card and so forth.
