Boxy 3, SwitcherCC, and more jailbreak tweaks to check out this weekend

If you’re rocking a jailbroken iOS 10 iPhone or iPad and are looking for new tweaks to install on it, then this is a roundup you won’t want to miss.

In this piece, we’ll go over all the jailbreak tweaks that were released throughout the past work week, starting with our favorites and then outline the rest afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

Boxy 3 – $1.99

Boxy 3 is a new jailbreak tweak that lets you customize your Home Screen app icon layout any way you’d like.

You can adjust how many icons appear in each column or row, and you can also configure the spacing in between your app icons in real time.

The tweak includes a whole host of options for cleaning up the Home screen interface, such as hiding the page dots and app icon labels, among other things.

You can read more about how Boxy 3 works in our full review.

SwitcherCC – FREE

SwitcherCC is a great free jailbreak tweak release that combines the App Switcher and Control Center interfaces into one.

Since the App Switcher is such a waste of space in and of itself on a stock device, this tweak finds a way to make use of all the extraneous space by putting more into the interface. You can page through Control Center, just as you could before, except you’ll find three pages instead of the usual two.

You can change several aspects of SwitcherCC, such as using a dark mode for Control Center and choosing the size of your App Switcher cards, but the functionality of the tweak remains the same despite any of the aesthetic options.

You can read our full review of SwitcherCC to learn more about how it works and why you should grab it.
