‘ReadQuick’ goes free as Apple’s App of the Week

ReadQuick App

I probably sound like a broken record at this point, but what an eventful Thursday it has been on the App Store. Lory shared her thoughts on WordWildWest, Cody told us about Angry Birds Epic and Amazon’s new Prime Music service, Christian covered updates for Skitch, Flickr and Scanbot, and we’ve still got the App Recap coming later this evening…

To round things off, Apple has selected ReadQuick as its App of the Week, meaning that the app is now free through next Thursday. ReadQuick is a speed reader for iOS that helps you read faster than ever before. It is compatible with Pocket, Instapaper and Readability reading lists, displaying articles that you choose one word at a time at a pace you set.

Here is the official description from the App Store:

“The world’s best speed reading app. ReadQuick helps you read faster than ever before. Designed for iOS 7, this app helps you speed read your way through your Pocket, Instapaper and Readability reading lists. Watch your comprehension sky rocket in just one day.”

If you’re interested in learning how to speed read, you’ll probably want to grab ReadQuick while it is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. It is quite the discount, as the app regularly has a $9.99 price tag. If you do give ReadQuick a download, let us know what you think of the apps in the comments. We may choose to feature our favorite comment.
