Reuters adds to the long list of claims that the iPad 3 will have LTE

Apple is expected to unveil its iPad 3 tomorrow. Finally, we'll get to see the tablet that the company has been working on for the past year. And perhaps best of all, we'll finally get to put these silly iPad 3 rumors to rest.

But for now, they're still fair game. And the latest report comes from Reuters. The publication is throwing its hat in with a list of other credible sources in claims that Apple's new tablet will feature 4G LTE technology...

We're just one day away from the big event and it things that new information is leaking by the minute. Yesterday, we heard from a reliable source that the iPad 3 might indeed be LTE capable. Today 9to5Mac reports on the availability of the iPad 3.

According to sources who have presumably be reliable in the past, 9to5Mac claims that the iPad 3 will be available in store on March 16, which falls on a Friday, a day that Apple has historically favored when launching new products...

‘ActionSlider’ allows you to perform numerous actions from Notification Center

WeeCloseApps is a jailbreak widget that resides in Notification Center. Its purpose is built solely around closing and killing both running apps and backgrounded apps.

This tweak is basically the free version of another tweak called 'ActionSlider', which we will be covering for your shortly.

Once installed, a slider bar resides in Notification Center, and a slide to the left or to the right yields different actions depending on how you configure the tweak in the Settings app.

How to unlock the iPhone 4S using the R-SIM interposer

I'll admit that I've never used a Gevey SIM interposer, or anything like it in the past, but I figured I'd give it a shot with the iPhone 4S.

The iPhone 4S has its own special SIM interposer called the R-SIM II Ultra S, which was recently released.

I'm happy to report that this is by far the easiest method for "unlocking" your iPhone 4S, and using it with T-Mobile or virtually any other GSM carrier. And guess what, no jailbreak is required.

Yet another claim the iPad 3 will be called iPad HD

Citing a "reliable source", VentureBeat reports that the rumored iPad 3 will actually called the iPad HD, which others have also indicated. Many believe Apple will pick iPad HD instead of iPad 3, because the next tablet out of the company will feature a 'stunning' Retina display. Apple's next iPad is set to be announced at a media event March 7th, in San Francisco.

As we showed you last week, the Retina display's quality on the iPad looks great. Following up with the rumors, it would make sense for Apple to use the iPad HD moniker...

Senator asks FTC to investigate Apple over privacy concerns

Apple has recently come under heavy fire over its privacy policies. Earlier this year it was discovered that third-party iOS apps could access a user's address book without their consent. And recent reports that photo albums are subject to similar unauthorized access have added fuel to the flames.

Now it looks likes folks are so worried about the problem, that they've asked the Federal Trade Commission to get involved. ArsTechnica is reporting that New York Senator Charles Schumer is urging the FTC to look into Apple's widely-documented user privacy concerns...
