Here is a quick tip for those of you who sometimes get the error saying Cannot Connect to iTunes Store. Besides getting this annoying error message, it makes it impossible for you to either download or update applications from the App Store.

I’m not sure what the problem is but here is how to fix it:

1. SSH to /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/
2. back up and delete the file
3. Reboot

Done! You should now be able to download and update your apps.

  • i dont have that file

  • diddnt work, but stilll diddnt mes with my apps

I have an ipod touch 4g jailbroken running ios 6 beta 1.When I boot tether , the problem happens , but when I boot normally , App Store works! What should I do?

  • FYI – I was having this problem on my iPhone 4S. What worked for me was resetting my Network Setting from/on the phone.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

First time I’ve ever own anything apple related, and this happened on the 3rd day – I downloaded 3 apps, and then this happened 1 minute later, and have never been able to get back on, no matter what. Dumbest decision of my life to waste my money. From now on, I’m Android & PC only.

    Very Easy Fix:
Got to Settings – General – Reset – Reset Network Settings
