‘Tap to Widgets’ brings shortcuts for Notes, Reminders, and Calendar to Notification Center

Tap to Widgets is a jailbreak tweak, which brings Reminders, Notes, and Calendar shortcuts to iOS' Notification Center. Tap to Widgets allows you to easily add an item to any of these apps without having to fully open the app in question.

The tweak even lends the ability to add items to specific accounts, such as a different Calendar, or Reminders List. This is a beautifully designed tweak that functions just as you might imagine it might if Apple were behind it. Crescent released on Cydia – here’s our video walkthrough

We're happy to tell you that Crescent is now available for download on Cydia's BigBoss repo, and, as expected, it's totally free. If you have a Siri capable device running iOS 6, then you'll want to try Crescent if you use iOS' Do Not Disturb feature often.

The first PSP emulator for iOS now plays games at 60FPS

A few days ago, we told you about PPSSPP — the first PSP emulator for iOS. While the initial screens and video looked promising, at the time, the frame-rate was really low due to some technical issues. Now, it appears that those technical issues — the lack of JIT compiling — have been ironed out, as new video has surfaced showing PPSSPP playing Wipeout pure at a buttery smooth 60 frames per second.
