Just yesterday, the Electra Team released v1.3.7 of the iOS 12-centric Chimera jailbreak tool with extended nonce generator support on A12(X) devices running iOS 12.1.3-12.4, but the Electra Team is out with another update on Wednesday, officially bringing Chimera up to version 1.3.8.

The Electra Team announced the latest update Wednesday morning via the team’s official Twitter page, and from what we can gather, this update, much like the last, improves the setting of nonces on A12(X) devices running iOS 12.1.3-12.4:

Sileo v1.4.0 brings speed boosts, adds more support for Swift & native depictions

The Sileo Team released an updated version of the Sileo package manager late Tuesday evening with a plethora of improvements, officially bringing the Chimera and Electra jailbreak-centric package manager to version 1.4.0 in the process.

The Sileo Team announced the update via the official @GetSileo Twitter page, and from what we can gather, this is a particularly ‘big’ update for users and repositories alike:

Last chance to downgrade to iOS 12.4 for jailbreak eligibility

It was only within the past couple of weeks that Pwn20wnd and the Electra Team updated the unc0ver and Chimera jailbreak tools with support for iOS 12.4 by way of an updated Sock Puppet exploit, and while it was the first time in a long while that the latest version of iOS could be jailbroken, all fun things must, unfortunately, come to an end…

Apple released iOS 12.4.1 to the general public on Monday with bug fixes and security enhancements, one of which tended to the updated Sock Puppet exploit that Apple initially patched in iOS 12.3 and then inadvertently un-patched again in iOS 12.4.

Unc0ver v3.5.6 adds support for remounting and rootFS restore for A12(X) devices on iOS 12.1.3-12.4

Pwn20wnd updated the unc0ver jailbreak Saturday afternoon, officially bringing it up to version 3.5.6 with increased support for A12(X) devices running iOS 12.1.3-12.4.

As you might recall, Pwn20wnd released unc0ver v3.5.5 earlier this week with SSH support on the aforementioned device and firmware combinations, but citing a Tweet shared just this afternoon, the latest unc0ver update adds support for remounting and restoring the RootFS on those same devices:

Earlier today, the Electra Team released version 1.3.6 of the iOS 12-centric Chimera jailbreak with improvements for the Sock Puppet exploit and a fix for random crashes after jailbreaking, and as it would seem, they’ve just now pushed a similar update for the tvOS-centric ChimeraTV jailbreak.

The Electra Team announced ChimeraTV v1.3.6 via Twitter just a few minutes ago:

Unc0ver v3.5.5 released with SSH support on A12(X) devices running iOS 12.1.3-12.4, bug fixes

Pwn20wnd’s unc0ver jailbreak has received lots of updates recently, mostly pertaining to bug fixes and stability improvements centric to the newfangled iOS 12.4 support that came by way of an updated Sock Puppet exploit under a week ago. But as you might’ve noticed, this didn’t initially include support for Apple’s latest handsets, such as the A12(X) variety.

Pwn20wnd changed that Thursday afternoon, at least partially, with the launch of unc0ver versions 3.5.4 and 3.5.5. Both updates were announced via Twitter:

The Electra Team released an updated version of the iOS 12-centric Chimera jailbreak tool late last night, officially bringing it up to version 1.3.3 on the team’s website.

Citing a Tweet shared via the Electra Team’s official Twitter account at the time of release, this update implements support for the new Sock Puppet 3 exploit by @umanghere, which enables support for A7-A8(X) devices on iOS 12.1.3-12.4:

Unc0ver v3.5.3 released with ‘partial’ support for A12(X) devices running iOS 12.1.3-12.4 [u]

Pwn20wnd has been hard at work over the last several days adding support for iOS 12.4 to the unc0ver jailbreak, and several updates later, it’s now more reliable on iOS 12.4 than it was at the time of the initial release; but one thing was missing since the start: A12(X) support.

Pwn20wnd addressed this concern Monday afternoon by releasing unc0ver v3.5.3, which brings ‘partial’ support for A12(X) devices running iOS 12.1.3-12.4. This should sound familiar to most since unc0ver already ‘partially’ supported A12(X) devices on earlier firmware versions.
