Update

Unc0ver v3.5.1 released with a plethora of iOS 12.4-centric fixes & improvements

Pwn20wnd updated the unc0ver jailbreak tool to version 3.5.1 Monday morning with a plethora of improvements, including but not limited to faster and more reliable jailbreaking on supported devices running iOS 12.4.

The hacker announced the latest update within the past hour via Twitter, crediting @umanghere for a revised Sock Puppet exploit that purportedly made all of this possible:

Chimera v1.2.9 released with bug fixes and usability improvements

The Electra Team’s Chimera jailbreak tool officially picked up support for iOS 12.4 within just the last couple of hours, but the team continues to work hard to refine the tool for optimal performance and stability. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise to anyone that the iOS 12-centric jailbreak tool just received another update.

Chimera v1.2.9 was announced via the Electra Team’s official Twitter page just minutes ago:

Sileo v1.2.9 released with improved download manager, faster interface, and more

If you’re enjoying an iOS 11 or iOS 12 jailbreak by way of the Electra Team’s Chimera or Electra tools, then you might be excited to learn that the Sileo Team released an updated version of the Sileo package manager Sunday morning, bringing the public release up to version 1.2.9.

The Sileo Team announced the update early this morning via Twitter, noting that it would make the user interface significantly faster when doing critical tasks such as refreshing sources or downloading packages:

Sileo Team launches Sileo v1.2.9 beta 1 for testing

While it’s not uncommon for the Sileo Team to release an updated Sileo package manager every now and again, the team deviated from their traditional release cycle on Friday by launching a ‘Sileo Beta’ that can be deployed alongside the stable Sileo installation.

The Sileo Team announced the news early this morning via Twitter, noting that Sileo v1.2.9 beta 1 would be available from the default Chimera/Electra repositories on their respective jailbreaks:

Apple no longer signing iOS 12.3-12.3.2, hindering downgrades from iOS 12.4

Apple is no longer signing iOS 12.3, 12.3.1, or 12.3.2 for its mobile device lineup as of Wednesday evening, a move that prevents users from restoring to any firmware version older than iOS 12.4, which was released to the general public just last Monday.

It’s not uncommon for Apple to stop signing older versions of iOS, especially a week or two after releasing a new update, but it’s particularly noteworthy that Apple stopped signing at least three iterations of iOS in one fell swoop this week, which doesn’t happen too often.

Sileo v1.2.5 released to address more repository issues

Two more consecutive updates were released for Sileo Saturday afternoon, officially bringing the Chimera and Electra-centric package manager up to version 1.2.5. The same update is also available as a Demo for non-jailbroken handsets.

The Sileo Team announced Sileo versions 1.2.4 and 1.2.5 via Twitter just hours ago, with each update further addressing repository issues that were introduced in a previous update:

Sileo Team releases Sileo v1.2.3 with more repository-centric improvements

Just yesterday, the Sileo Team released v1.2.0 of the Sileo Demo for testing on non-jailbroken devices, promising that a jailbreak-centric update to Sileo would soon follow. Now, it appears that update is finally out, and better than before.

The Sileo Team released two consecutive updates for the Sileo package manager Saturday morning, including version 1.2.2 and 1.2.3. The updates were announced via the Sileo Team’s Twitter page:

Sileo Demo updated to v1.2.0 with rewritten repository manager

Sileo is the exclusive package manager for handsets that have been pwned with the Electra Team’s Chimera or Electra jailbreaks, but non-jailbroken devices can deploy a special build of Sileo for testing and repository-browsing purposes.

On Friday, the Sileo Team issued a revised iteration of the Sileo Demo for non-jailbroken devices, bringing it up to version 1.2.0:

Unc0ver versions 3.4.1 and 3.4.2 released to add iOS 12.3 beta 1 support and improve reliability

We saw an update for the iOS 12-based Chimera jailbreak tool earlier today, and like clockwork, it seems that Pwn20wnd has released a couple of updates for the unc0ver jailbreak for iOS 11 and 12 as well.

Pwn20wnd announced the updates just minutes ago via Twitter, and as it would seem, unc0ver v3.4.2 is now the latest release available to the public. Unc0ver v4.3.2 was released just shortly after v4.3.1:
