1Password updated with Teams support, new All Vaults view and more

AgileBits on Monday issued an update for its 1Password app, bringing the mobile client to version 6.1. The team is calling this the "Unity Edition," and it brings about support for 1Password for Teams, a new All Vaults view, and various other smaller improvements.

With 1Password for Teams, everyone gets the simple, convenient security of 1Password, and you get the tools you need to control and manage access to your important info. This includes features like end-t0-end encrypted sharing, anti-phishing defense and more.

Twitter app update makes polls available to everyone

Twitter on Monday pushed out an update to its mobile apps, bringing the iPhone client to version 6.40.3. The update doesn't any major changes or improvements, but it does bring about full support for the social network's new polling feature.

Introduced last month, Twitter Polls allows users to quickly and easily create two-choice polls. The feature has been rolling out to some users over the past few weeks, but after today's update, everyone should be able to access it from within the app.

Vine app updated with hearts and new ‘Similar Vines’ feature

Twitter on Friday pushed out an update for its popular video-sharing Vine app, bringing the iPhone client to version 4.3. The update is a minor one, as the release notes only mention a few changes, but there are two new features worth mentioning.

The first is the addition of Hearts, which bring the app more in line with Twitter's other products. Like the social network did earlier this week, Vine has replaced its 'Favorites' (the smiley face) feature with a new, more meaningful heart-shaped icon.

Tweetbot 4.1 is out with support for Apple Watch

The folks at Tapbots on Tuesday issued an update for their popular Twitter client Tweetbot 4, bringing the iOS app to version 4.1. The update brings about a number of fixes for bugs including timeline jumping and in-app browser issues, as well as proper Apple Watch support.

With Tweetbot on Apple Watch, you can view your 'Activity' feed—which shows things like @ Tweets, Favorited (or liked) Tweets and new followers—and reply to those notifications. You can also Favorite Tweets, reply to Direct Messages and compose Tweets using voice dictation.

Apex 2 updated with support for iOS 9

Coming soon after the release of the Pangu jailbreak for iOS 9 on Wednesday, A3Tweaks has released an update for Apex 2 that introduces iOS 9 compatibility.

As one of several jailbreak tweaks created by the well-known jailbreak development group A3Tweaks, Apex allows users to hide Home screen icons by tucking them under other icons of a similar category, removing the need for excessive folders. A simple swipe will reveal the grouped apps, allowing them to be launched with a tap.

Apple updates iWork for iOS with support for 3D Touch, multitasking and more

Apple on Thursday pushed out updates for its iWork for iOS apps, bringing Pages, Numbers and Keynote to version 2.6. The updates are nearly identical for each app, bringing about support for many new iOS 9 and iPhone 6s features including multitasking and 3D Touch.

According to the change logs, users can now edit their various iWork documents in-app while using new iOS 9 features like Slide Over and Picture in Picture on iPad (depending on model). The apps also support Bluetooth keyboard shortcuts, text selection and much more.

YouTube app gets a major redesign

After several months of testing with iOS users randomly selected, the YouTube app received a major redesign today, including a new logo, bringing the overall look in line with its Android counterpart. The app is now divided into three main content areas which can be accessed via a swipe gesture: Home, Subscription, and Account.
