YouText lets you colorize the text and background of the Notes app

Despite all of the new features the Notes app keeps getting in Apple’s iOS updates, one of the most basic things you still can’t do is change the text color.

A new free jailbreak tweak in Cydia called YouText gives you the ability to change both the text and background color of the Notes app, giving jailbreakers an added layer of customization in the Notes app they didn’t have before.

Following suit with a similar event that took place last year, the 2016 Jailbreak Awards have just launched and the polls are now open.

This is essentially a jailbreak community-hosted event to recognize some of the best and the worst of the community for the year of 2016. The polls are open to everyone who takes part in the community, including jailbreak users, tweak developers, and even those who make the jailbreaks.

A ton of people are sticking with their jailbroken iOS 9 devices, but are drooling over the new features and interface changes in iOS 10. Fortunately, a new jailbreak tweak called Notifications10 can help bring some of the iOS 10 look and feel to your jailbroken iPhone.

Notifications10, as the name suggests, brings iOS 10-style notification bubbles and banners to your jailbroken iOS 9 device.

NCTextColor lets you add vibrancy to Notification Center

Notification Center always has white text by default, but with a new free jailbreak tweak called NCTextColor, you can mix things up a little bit with some of your own favorite colors and settings.

This tweak works great for anyone who themes their iPhone and wants Notification Center's colors to better compliment the theme they're using, but you don't have to be a theme user to love what you can do with this tweak.

Deck out your iPhone’s respring screen with Springy

Everyone who’s used a jailbroken iPhone before knows what the respring screen looks like. It displays a black screen with a white Apple logo if you have a black device, or a white screen with a black logo if you have a white device. On the other hand, if you’re jailbroken, then why have the same old screen everyone else has? You can customize it!

A new free jailbreak tweak called Springy is going to give you more options to go down this road if you like customization.
