14 jailbreak tweaks you should check out today

It's been a busy week, what with Apple's big event and all, so you'd be forgiven if you weren't able to keep up with all of the new jailbreak tweaks. But never fear, as usual we've put together a list of this week's new tweaks so you can rest assured you didn't miss anything.

Hands-on with the Apple Watch

Following today's event, select attendees were given the opportunity to go hands-on with a working version of the Apple Watch. You may recall, Apple allowed journalists to try out demo versions of the wearable when it debuted last fall, but this is much different.

This time around, folks were actually allowed to launch apps, navigate menus and play with various features. We've collected a number of videos showing these initial impressions, in an effort to help paint a proper picture of what to expect when you get your Watch next month.

Apple event recap: everything about Apple Watch, new MacBook, ResearchKit and more

The sun is beginning to set in Cupertino, which signifies that Apple's media event day has come and gone. The keynote is over, all announcements have been made, and we now know what the fabled 12-inch MacBook looks like, and how much the golden Apple Watch will cost.

A lot has happened over the past 12 hours, and we understand that it can be tough to keep up with everything throughout the day. So tonight, as we like to do every post-event evening, we've put together a roundup telling you everything you need to know about Apple's big event.

Hands-on with Apple’s new ultra thin 12-inch MacBook

So by now you’ve likely watched Apple’s keynote, and know Apple unveiled a new 12-inch MacBook today, but thus far you've probably only seen it on stage or in marketing materials. Obviously the new laptop is going to look good in photos, but what about in real life?

Following the event today, select journalists were given the chance to go hands on with the new ultra thin MacBook, and have posted videos of their initial reactions. So naturally, we’ve rounded up some of these clips that show folks trying out the notebook for the first time.

Apple Watch: everything we know so far

Speculation has surrounded Apple Watch for years – far back into the technological dark ages when it was referred to as 'iWatch' – but, despite being exceedingly more enlightened at present, we still don't know everything about Apple's long-awaited wearable.

That will change on Monday when Apple's 'Spring Forward' event goes live, at which time more information about Apple Watch is expected to release, including prices and additional features. After the event, those attending will likely be able to go hands-on with an array of fully functioning Apple Watches in the white structure going up beside the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

The team at iDownloadBlog will be covering the keynote as it happens, per usual. Until then, however, tech and fashion enthusiasts must occupy themselves with the facts given us by Apple and leaks from other sources. As a result, we've compiled everything we know and think we know about Apple Watch.

After several weeks of slower and slower output of new jailbreak tweaks, it seems the trend is finally reversing. This week saw quite a few new releases, and some very interesting ones too. 16 new tweaks to consider this weekend

We're now entering the fourth week of straight decline in amount of new jailbreak tweak releases. I'm not sure if there is anything to get too concerned about at this point, but it's definitely worth noting.

If you haven't had a chance to get on Cydia this week, I've rounded up all the new tweaks that shipped over the last few days, with a short description of each of them. That should give you a quick overview of what was released and what might be of interest to you.

18 new jailbreak tweaks recently released

The trend that started about 3 weeks ago is getting more obvious as we enter yet another week with a slower output of tweak releases. I'm not necessarily complaining. I'm merely highlighting a trend that we all hope won't be confirmed in the following weeks.

Today, we put 18 new jailbreak tweaks front and center, hoping there will be at least one that pique your interest.

15 interesting points from Apple’s Q1 2015 earnings call

Apple announced its financial results for its fiscal first quarter of 2015 this afternoon, and the numbers are staggering. The company sold 75.4 million iPhones and earned $74.6 billion in revenue, smashing both Wall Street expectations and its own records.

We’re just finishing up the conference call, where Tim Cook and other members of the executive team discussed Apple’s performance, and offered up some insights into its future. And as usual, we’ve rounded up the 15 most interesting points for you below.

23 new jailbreak tweaks to check out

Looking at the amount of new tweaks released this past week, it seems that there definitely is a slowdown happening. For reference, the last couple weeks had seen 30+ releases, some of them being massive tweaks too.

The last few days have indeed been more quiet, and the Jailbreak Tweaks section on iDB is a testimony of that. But let's not get discouraged. Maybe it was just one of those slow weeks, and things will pick up again in the next few days. In the meantime, have a look at these 23 tweaks and let us know which ones have peeked your interest.
