Earlier this week, renowned security researcher Ian Beer announced plans to drop an iOS 11.4.1-compatible exploit to the public. But as it would seem, he’s not the only person packing exploits for Apple's mobile operating system.

Joining the recent exploit-centric commotion is a security researcher by the name of Brandon Azad, who just recently released an iOS 11.2.6-11.4-compatible exploit on GitHub along with some handy mitigation bypasses.

Some iPhone XS buyers reporting shipping delays

The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max officially arrive in 30 countries and territories today, Sept. 21. For those who pre-ordered a device, today was supposed to feel like Christmas. Unfortunately, some early buyers have reported receiving notices saying their shipments have been delayed.

On various websites over the past few hours, buyers worldwide have been complaining about possible delays. Some say deliveries that were supposed to be delivered today aren't going to arrive until Monday, Sept. 24.

In the United States, it seems logistical issues with UPS are to blame, although buyers overseas are reporting similar problems.

Video: Attention to detail—how Apple created a suite of dynamic motion faces for the watch

The gorgeous new motion faces in watchOS 5—Fire, Vapor, Water and Liquid Metal—are more special than Apple let on during the keynote. Surprisingly, they're not rendered or created using computer graphics. The attention to detail matters always so small wonder Apple has recorded them in a real studio where they set things on fire and used real water and vapor elements.

This tweak automatically dismisses Siri when she sits idle for too long

Depending on how you use Siri throughout your workflow, you might find a new free jailbreak tweak called AutoDismissSiri by iOS developer Andreas Henriksson to be an advantageous supplement to your jailbroken handset.

Just as the tweak’s name implies, AutoDismissSiri adds a timeout period to the Siri interface. That said, if Siri would idle on your device for a specific amount of time, then the interface closes automatically.

Ian Beer to release exploits for iOS 11.4.1 as hacking focus shifts to iOS 12

Security researcher Ian Beer has become somewhat of a legend in the jailbreak community recently. Albeit not directly related to the development of recent iOS 11 jailbreak tools like Electra, his mighty iOS exploits helped make them possible.

Despite all the contributions Beer has made thus far, he doesn’t appear to be slowing down one bit. Beer announced Wednesday morning via Twitter that he’d be releasing some new iOS 11.4.1-centric exploits.
