If you didn't know yet that Geohot was into hip hop, this one might come as a surprise to you. After being sued by Sony for jailbreaking the PlayStation 3, Geohot decided to respond via a rap video.

This is actually not bad at all. If the wonder kid doesn't make a career out of his hacking skills, I'm sure he'll still be able to make a living off his rapping capacities...

New Car Stereo Fully Integrates Your iPhone

Ever since the first iPhone came out in 2007, I thought it'd be a genius idea to create a car stereo that would completely integrate the iPhone to use it as a screen but also for controls. Fast forward 3 years later and it seems someone has finally heard my prayers.

The guys at Oxygen Audio just came up with the O Car, a fully integrated head unit specifically designed and made for iPhone. Its patented technologies enable the user to control all standard car stereo functions using the iPhone touch screen, while allowing horizontal and vertical access, so that all iPhone applications may be used in the car...

Inception, There’s An App For That

It's not that often that an app like Inception comes along. That's right, Christopher Nolan's masterpiece film has its very own iPhone app!

The Inception app pioneers the use of augmented reality with sound. It synchronizes an augmented layer of music and ambient noise with the world around you.

This groundbreaking app experiment is the project of Christopher Nolan, Michael Breidenbrücke and Hans Zimmer. In case you didn't know, Christopher Nolan was the writer and director of the Inception movie and Hans Zimmer wrote and produced the movie's score...

mSpot Enables Cloud Syncing With iTunes But It’s Not Quite Ready For Primetime

The rumors have been circling for quite a while about an official iTunes cloud solution that makes streaming your music anywhere at anytime a reality. While we do think it's inevitable that iTunes will one day ride the cloud, those who are getting impatient now have an unofficial option.

mSpot is that option. An app that has been around for a while on other platforms, but just recently landed on the iPhone.

mSpot makes all of your unfulfilled fantasies about iTunes cloud storage come true; right now you can store 2GB of your music, and download the official mPlayer app free of charge. For those of you with larger music collections (note: like, everyone), mSpot offers you a fairly generous 40GB worth of storage for $3.99 a month...

The iPod Remote Controller app is a two-trick app for jailbroken devices. It will access and control any iDevice that is running the iPod Remote Server. You can select songs, shuffle, and play the songs in an interface that closely resembles the iPod app for the iPhone. App Review: Take Five

I love it when a simple app idea is executed beautifully. Take Five, by the Iconfactory, is no exception. The idea is simple. Take Five is intended to solve a problem that occurs often for certain types of people. When I say "certain types of people," I mean forgetful ones (aren't we all to some degree). The app does one thing and one thing well; it controls a timer for your music.

The scenario that Iconfactory uses on the Take Five site is a scenario that most of us have probably been through. You're listening to your music while you're doing work, you are either interrupted or distracted, then you eventually return to your work and forget to turn your music back on. Hours later you realize you've been listening to silence. That sounds like a pretty trivial problem, right? Well, it seems to me that the most frustrating problems in life are the repetitive and trivial ones. Take Five plans on fixing at least one of those problems...

Awesome: Rock Band Performs in the Subway Using iPhones

It's not the first time we see artists playing music on iPhones, or even iPads. Of all those bands playing with iDevices, this one has to be my favorite.

The name of the band is Atomic Tom, and apparently, the story behind it is that they got their instrument stolen and decided to keep rocking... on their iPhones...

Did You Know Geohot Was a Musician Too?

Did you know that before becoming famous for his iPhone jailbreaks and unlocks, Geohot tried to get a piece of the music industry?

Fortunately for us, he's far better at hacking gadgets than he is at songwriting and singing. This was sent in by iDB reader Josh who apparently stumbled upon this little gem. Check it out...

Geohot even created a MySpace page with a couple other songs. What do you think of that?
