One of the strongest attributes for Apple is its A-series processors. And now, maybe even more so, the M-series. Apple has galloped away from the competition in mobile and desktop because of these chips. There have been rumors that Apple is going to expand that effort in the future, with a recent report saying as much. Especially towards wireless chips.

Will you buy a MacBook Air with white bezels?

When the brand new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models were unveiled earlier this year, it went down as one of the more significant changes for the laptop lineup in ages. Yes, part of that was Apple welcoming back elements the company had decided on its own to remove. But, still. They saw the error of their ways and eventually corrected it. Hooray!

But the company isn't quite done shaking things up, with the middle of 2022 reportedly tuned up to present radical changes to the MacBook Air lineup.

macOS Monterey will launch on October 25

Apple today confirmed an official release date for the highly anticipated macOS Monterey update. In the press release for its new MacBook Pros, the company noted that macOS Monterey will be available to the public on October 25.

One of the things Apple executives have been pretty consistent about, even as macOS and iOS blur some lines with each new iteration, is the idea that the company is not trying to merge the two platforms. Meaning, a Mac is going to remain a Mac, and the iPad will continue to be whatever iPadOS defines it as. Of course, that could very well change down the road, but, for now, it appears Apple doesn't have any plans to change that.
