LastLocked puts the last time your device was locked on the Lock screen

In April, we showed you a tweak dubbed LastTimeUnlocked that replaced the ‘press home to unlock’ text on the Lock screen with an indicator of when your device was most recently unlocked, and now a new free jailbreak tweak called LastLocked by iOS developer NeinZedd9 is taking on the opposite end of the spectrum.

Rather than displaying when your device was last unlocked, LastLocked displays the last time your device was most-recently locked.

Hide stuff from your Lock screen with LSHiddenTools10

The Lock screen is the first thing you see every time you wake your device up, whether it’s coming out of your pocket or you’re grabbing at it for the first time of the day from your nightstand.

That said, why not use your jailbreak to customize your Lock screen? A new free jailbreak tweak called LSHiddenTools10 by CydiaGeek will allow you to do just that.

Allow guests to sign into your iPhone or iPad with Guest Mode 2

If you have a jailbroken iOS device that you share with guests or other family members, then Guest Mode 2 by iOS developer Ian Burns is a jailbreak tweak that might be worth installing.

This tweak lets guests use your device without knowing your passcode, but securely and with limited privileges, similarly to that of the guest user on macOS.

Revamp your Lock screen’s battery charging display with Charge

Any time you plug your locked iOS device into a power source, a full-screen charging view with a large battery icon and the percentage you have remaining appears. It’s a simple UI, but one jailbreak developer thought they could do better.

A new jailbreak tweak dubbed Charge by iOS developer Mr Smith, supercharges your Lock screen’s charging view with a bevy of aesthetically-pleasing features. Not only does it provide a dreamy interface for minimalists, but it offers more information at a glance than the stock interface does.

Vibrancy makes your Lock screen clock subtler

Given just how often people use their Lock screen clock to see what time it is, it’s a shame that Apple doesn’t give users visual customization options to tailor its looks around the user's personality.

Nevertheless, those with a jailbreak can use a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed Vibrancy (iOS 10) by iOS developer NeinZedd9 to make the Lock screen clock text subtler, giving the illusion that the time is fading away into the wallpaper.

Masq lets you customize the Now Playing interface

The Now Playing interface found both on the Lock screen and in Control Center when you're listening to music is the main focus of a new jailbreak tweak dubbed Masq by iOS developer candoizo.

The tweak lets you spice up the look of each interface independently with themes and a trough of aesthetic options. Tailored for the creative mind, Masq is a great addition to themed devices and stock-looking devices alike.

TapToOpen lets you interact with your Lock screen notifications with a tap

You can either swipe on or use a 3D touch gesture to interact with with notifications on your Lock screen. The swipe reveals options for clearing or replying to the notification, while the 3D Touch gesture opens a quick reply interface instead.

A new free jailbreak tweak called TapToOpen by iOS developer gilshahar7 adds a new way to interact with your notifications by letting you tap on them to interact with them.

QuickFlash puts a flashlight button on your Lock screen

Having quick access to your iPhone's LED flash is always convenient, and that’s why Apple built their own Flashlight toggle into iOS when they introduced Control Center with iOS 7. But now, you can make accessing the flashlight even easier.

A new free jailbreak tweak called QuickFlash by iOS developer Ziph0n adds a flashlight button to the bottom right of your Lock screen, allowing you to turn on the flashlight with just a tap.

Hide the date from the Today page with No Date Today

Some might consider the date information in the Today page unnecessary because the date appears in several other places on your devices. If you agree, then a new free jailbreak tweak called No Date Today by TheComputerWhisperer could be useful to you.

This tweak removes the double-line date from the Today page and makes more vertical room for cramming additional Today widgets into a single screen; the benefit being that you won't have to scroll down as much to see their information.

Spotlife hides Today widgets, brings back the iOS 9-style Spotlight page

While some people like using the Today page on the Home Screen, Lock screen, and in Notification Center, others don’t. It really comes down to whether or not you actually use any of your Today widgets.

If you find yourself missing the simplicity of the iOS 9 Spotlight page because you don’t use any Today widgets, then a new free jailbreak tweak called Spotlife by iOS developer pxcex could be a beneficial addition to your device.

LastTimeUnlocked displays when your iPhone or iPad was last unlocked

Do you really know when the last time your iPhone was unlocked? You might assume no one else knows your passcode, but it would be very easy for a family member or friend to unlock your device if they knew what it was and you left it unattended long enough.

A new free jailbreak tweak called LastTimeUnlocked by iOS developer ijapija00 works to your advantage in these scenarios by showing you exactly when your device was last unlocked.

This tweak customizes the ‘iPhone is disabled’ text that appears after failed passcode attempts

Whenever your iPhone passcode is entered incorrectly too many times, a message eventually pops up that says “iPhone is disabled.” This prevents the device from being used for a temporary period of time and is intended to deter people who try to gain unauthorized access to your device and personal information.

On the other hand, the stock message is pretty bland, and a new free jailbreak tweak called GoAway by iOS developer gilshahar7 paves the way to new ways of customization by letting you change the message and other information that gets displayed after too many wrong passcode attempts.
