These are the latest jailbreak apps and tweaks available for your iPhone or iPad. We save you time by highlighting only the best tweaks.

Airplane Enhancer+ takes iPhone battery preservation to the extreme

Airplane Mode icon.

Airplane Mode is a feature built into your iOS devices that makes your devices airplane friendly by disabling all the wireless radios that could be a nuisance to on-board plane equipment, but it can also be used to increase your battery life.

Since the wireless radios are put to rest when your device's Airplane Mode option is enabled, you'll burn through less battery on a single charge with the feature turned on, and this is basically the idea behind a new jailbreak tweak dubbed Airplane Enhancer+.

ASBlur increases iOS 9 App Switcher privacy by blurring app previews

You probably use the App Switcher a lot throughout your day-to-day iPhone usage. It's an essential part of multitasking because it lets you easily get back to the apps you've used recently.

On the other hand, it also takes a screenshot of your last activity in the apps you closed recently, so it's a privacy hazard because anyone can peek over your shoulder to see what you've done recently when you're switching between recently-used apps.

ASBlur is a new free jailbreak tweak that helps solve this problem by blurring the contents of your App Switcher app previews.

Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Phenomenon, IGExperiments, & more…

It's that time of the week again, and we've compiled a roundup of all the jailbreak tweaks released this week and put them into a convenient list for you to easily digest and consider for your jailbroken device.

We'll split this list up into two sections like we always do, starting with those that we thought were the best of this week's releases. Then, we'll share the rest of them afterwards.

Without further ado, check them out!

Phenomenon: an intuitive tweak that combines the App Switcher with Control Center

In terms of utilitarian thinking, the current App Switcher and Control Center interfaces in iOS 9 do their jobs just fine.

It's those with creative minds that continue to look past the individual interfaces and find new ways to combine them together into all-in-one interfaces that continue to power App Switcher replacement jailbreak tweaks in Cydia.

Yet another new Cydia release to do such a thing is a jailbreak tweak called Phenomenon, which we'll be showing you in this review.

Get Instagram’s new flat UI redesign now with this jailbreak tweak

Earlier this week, we had shared with you what appears to be a redesign for the Instagram app for iPhone that may soon be rolled out to all users.

The new interface utilizes an iOS 9-esque flatter design with white UI elements and black button highlights.

However, if you're jailbroken, then you don't have to wait to unlock this new interface for yourself right now. There's a new jailbreak tweak in Cydia called IGExperiments that will let you do this, and more.

Fixing size mismatch errors in Cydia when trying to install a tweak

Size mismatch errors are something that seem to plague me every once in a blue moon when I try to install a jailbreak tweak right after an update is released, or after Cydia refreshes its sources.

The issue can occur when Cydia tries to fully refresh its sources at the time of a repository sync, and I'm sure some of you have probably stumbled upon this same error one time or another.

If you ever do get a size mismatch error in Cydia, we'll be explaining in this short tutorial how you can fix the problem and install the jailbreak tweak you want to download once and for all.

Jailbreak tweaks of the week: SwitchHUD, SilentMessenger, & more…

It has been yet a relatively quiet week for Cydia yet again, but there have still been some noteworthy jailbreak tweak releases that we've shown you throughout the week.

Since it's Sunday again, we'll go through a brief roundup of what's new in Cydia as of this week. We'll start by showing you our favorite releases this week, and then we'll show you the rest of them.

SilentMessenger enhances your Facebook & Facebook Messenger privacy

Facebook and Facebook Messenger users who have a jailbroken iOS device are going to love the benefits of using a new jailbreak tweak called SilentMessenger.

This tweak is going to provide these users with additional steps to protect their privacy and keep their footprint in the Facebook apps as minimal as possible from the perspective of other users who are online. Moreover, it also supercharges some other features of the apps.

In this review, we'll talk about what SilentMessenger can do for your Facebook experience, and walk you through all of the tweak's options.

AlwaysNightMode enables night mode in the Maps app at all times

Apple Maps comes with a feature known as night mode. With it, after a certain point during the day when the sunlight goes down, Maps will enter a lower-light state with darker colors as to be easier on your eyes for night-time navigation.

If you really like night mode, and wish there was a way to keep it enabled 100% of the time (even during the day) then you might be interested in a new free jailbreak tweak called AlwaysNightMode.

SwitchHUD makes it easy to toggle between iPhone volume modes

The two most commonly-used volume modes in iOS are the ringer volume and media volume. The ringer volume controls the volume of text tones, ring tones, and notification sounds, while the media volume controls the volume of your music and videos.

The only problem is, iOS likes to default to the ringer volume all the time, unless you have media playing. If you do, that's the only time the volume buttons will actually change the media volume level.

If you don't like that solution, then hold on to your seats, because we're going to be showing you a new free jailbreak tweak called SwitchHUD, which takes volume switching to the next level by letting you manually toggle between the two at any time with an Activator action.

Marquee lets you have long, scrolling folder names in iOS

If you've ever had a folder name that was too long for iOS to display, then you probably had an atrocious-looking folder title like the one above; cut off, and ended with an ellipsis.

Unfortunately, the way stock iOS handles longer folder names makes it nearly impossible to tell what the entire folder title is.

That's why a new free jailbreak tweak called Marquee is going to appeal to those of you with the desire to have longer folder names on your Home screen.
