Kik Messenger app updated for iOS 7 with new design, stickers and more

Adding to our growing list of iOS 7 updates, the Kik Messenger client for iPhone received a refresh last night, bringing it to version 6.7. The update brings the app's design more in line with the all-new firmware.

Kik's entire UI has been given the usual iOS 7 treatment, with fewer borders, flatter graphics and text, and empty white spaces. And the developers also gave it a new sticker package and stability improvements...

Camera+ updated with full-resolution burst-mode and new filter pack

Camera+ users that have been having problems with the app crashing during burst-mode shooting will be happy to hear that the problem has been fixed. Developers tap tap tap issued an update today, bringing the app to version 4.2.

Transport Tycoon now available on the App Store

Back in July, we received word that an official port of Transport Tycoon would be coming to iOS this year. The game, which was originally released for PCs back in 1994, is still regarded as one of the best simulators of all time.

AT&T U-verse subscribers will be happy to hear that you can now watch live TV right on your iPhone (and iPad). The TV, phone and Internet provider updated its iOS client this weekend with this and several other new features.

Popular photo-sharing service 500px has posted a significant update for its iOS client this weekend. The release, which brings the app to version 2.2, includes an all-new visual design and new swipe gestures.

The new translucent edge-to-edge design makes the app's interface more streamlined and accentuates high resolution photos. And the new swipe gestures help you quickly perform actions like 'Like' and 'Reply.'

Official Google Music app expected to launch on iOS later this month

Rdio takes on Spotify and others with free mobile radio

Last summer, Spotify updated its mobile apps with a free Pandora-like radio service, and it has since seen its subscriber base grow by more than a third. Today, Rdio is betting on the same horse with its own mobile radio feature.

Rdio’s radio service—which it calls 'Stations'—will be available via its mobile apps. Like Pandora or iTunes Radio, users won't be able to choose a specific song or artist. But they will be able to listen to music based on their tastes...
