Steve Wozniak has been in line for the new iPad since Thursday

While Apple's co-founder Steve Wozniak could probably stroll into Apple's HQ in Cupertino to pick himself up an iPad, he's made it very clear that he'd rather join in on the excitement and wait in line. Wozniak was first in line for the iPhone 4S this fall.

This time around isn't any different. Wozniak has joined other enthusiastic Apple fans to wait for the new iPad to go on sale. It's already hit the East Coast this morning, and will be available on the West Coast in about an hour.

Over the past few months, Apple has been exploding not only on the stock market, but also in record sales. Apple's latest phone offering, the iPhone 4S, saw record sales last quarter, putting Apple in the spot as top smartphone manufacturer. It's apparent customers love Apple products.

With no surprise, J.D. Power and Associates has ranked Apple as the company highest in smartphone customer satisfaction. This is Apple's seventh consecutive time winning the award...

Dev Team has good news regarding new iPad jailbreak

Even though the new iPad doesn't officially go on sale until tomorrow morning, some folks have already gotten their hands on the one. It appears that some retailers started selling the tablet around midnight tonight.

Of course, now that it's starting to make its way into customers hands, the big question here at iDB is: "when will it be jailbroken?" Luckily, the infamous Dev Team posted some interesting information tonight regarding the topic...

Just as a reminder, the third-generation iPad out of Cupertino packs a stunning 2048 x 1536 Retina display, dual-core A5X processor with quad-core graphics, 5-megapixel camera with upgraded sensors, larger battery, LTE, and Dictation...

iPad event demo game Sky Gamblers now available

As noted by MacRumors, the simulator known as Sky Gamblers: Air Supremacy has just gone live in the App Store. You might recognize the game from Apple's iPad event last week, as it was one of the titles demonstrated on stage.

So what's so special about Sky Gamblers? Well besides being one of the first apps to take advantage of the iPad's new features, its developers are saying that the game delivers "console quality single and multiplayer experiences."

Walmart to start selling new iPads at midnight

Yesterday we told you Apple confirmed that 8am on March 16th was the official launch date and time of the new iPad. But it appears that other retailers are looking to get a head start.

The folks over at Insanely Great Mac are reporting that some Walmart stores are planning to start selling Apple's new tablet as early as 12:01 am (local time) tomorrow morning...

If you were thinking that the new iPad's lack of a redesigned body or quad-core CPU was going to affect customer demand, think again. In typical pre-launch fashion, lines are forming around the world for Apple's new tablet.

Although most retailers won't be opening their doors until 8am tomorrow morning, some stores have announced that they will start selling the new iPad as early as 12:01 EST here in the States...

For those of you wondering how Apple managed to keep the iPad's legendary 10 hour battery life despite the addition of a Retina display and LTE technology, we've come across a good explanation: the battery is a lot bigger than its predecessors. Surprise!

How much is a lot? Well according to the recent iFixit teardown, and other reports, the new iPad's battery has roughly 70% more capacity than the one used to power the iPad 2. But unfortunately this also means that it takes a lot longer to charge...
