The folks over at Yelp have been on a roll in recent weeks. Following the addition of the ability to order food, and the 7.0 release earlier this month, the popular ratings and review site has issued another update for its mobile client.

Lucid Games’ 2K Drive now available for download

Last month, 2K Games announced a new iOS exclusive racing title called '2K Drive.' The game features a number of real world vehicles, more than 25 tracks, 100+ unique events, and what the developers call "the most precise driving on iOS."

Apple rolls out updates to iMovie, iPhoto and GarageBand ahead of iOS 7

Following this morning's sending of invitations for a September 10 media event, Apple has posted updates for its entire iLife for iOS app suite. That includes iPhoto, iMovie and of course GarageBand.

Both iPhoto and iMovie updates claim to "addresses compatibility issues," and there's a similar note in GarageBand's change log. But given the timing, the updates likely have something to do with iOS 7...

Spotify app updated with new way to browse music

DOJ: Apple used in-app purchases as club against Amazon

The U.S. Department of Justice Friday tweaked its ebook settlement offer, including emails between Steve Jobs and Apple's marketing head. The revised settlement charges Apple altered its in-app purchasing policy "to retaliate against Amazon for competitive conduct that Apple disproved of."

First Steve Jobs Schools open in Netherlands with iPad focus
