The Nightmare Cooperative is a roguelike and puzzle game combined

There is this type of puzzle game that requires players to move characters around on the board in unison in order to get everyone to the correct end point. PAC-MAN Friends uses this type of puzzle movement. It’s fairly complex and interesting, to say the least.

The Nightmare Cooperative is a roguelike game that uses that puzzle movement aspect to keep your party on their toes. You can use your mage to pick up that potion, but watch where your warrior is going or he may fall into the lava pit at the same time. iOS 8 Tips app just got updated with 3 more tips

Apple updated the new iOS 8 Tips app with three more tips earlier today. In this over-the-air update, Apple is now explaining future iOS 8 users how to see when a message was sent, how to use Siri to find out what song is currently playing on the radio or elsewhere, and how to use Family Share. This is the second update to the Tips app since it was introduced in iOS 8 beta 4. The first update happened on August 21.

iLife and iWork apps to come pre-installed on 64/128GB iPhone 6/Plus

Customers who've purchased a 64 or 128-gigabyte edition of either the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus won't need to download Apple's iLife and iWork productivity suite when the handset hits store shelves this Friday as the apps will come pre-loaded on their device, according to an internal Apple Retail training document obtained by Dan DeSilva of 9to5Mac.

Apple since last September started providing Pages, Keynote, Numbers, iMovie, GarageBand and iTunes U apps as free downloads to every new iOS device owner.

Web-sling your way to saving the world with Spider-Man Unlimited

Gameloft and Marvel have teamed up again to bring us another web-slinging adventure from the quick-witted Spider-Man. As if we haven’t had enough fun with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man: Total Mayhem.

Spider-Man Unlimited is the first free-to-play Spidey game on iOS. The hand-drawn episodic runner is set in the Marvel Universe where you will hang out with the likes of Nick Fury and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, as well as fight the Green Goblin, Vulture, and more. A few months back, Ustwo launched a unique, surreal puzzle game that was impressive to look at and challenging to play. Monument Valley quickly gained notoriety and gave us all something to swoon. It might have started a new trend in puzzle gaming.

Back to Bed has a similar look and feel, but offers a different type of adventure. In this Salvador Dali-inspired journey, players must guide Bob safely back to his sleeping quarters through control of his apple-toting subconscious.

Yahoo adds native iPad UI to News Digest, weekly Katie Couric show and more

After launching its excellent news summarization app, News Digest, in the App Store back in January 2014, the Internet pioneer Yahoo on Friday refreshed the application with a native user interface on iPads and three new iPad-specific features.

First up, there's a brand new weekly video show available by Katie Couric. You'll recall that Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer recently hired the former “The Today Show” host as a global news anchor for Yahoo News.

Couric's show is premiering every Sunday to walk you through a significant story from the week before and give you “key context to get you in the know”. More on an extra news category and new alert timings right after the break.

Taptaptap teases Camera+ 6 with manual controls and other new features

Ahead of the release of the new iPhone 6, and its upgraded camera, and iOS 8 with its various new features, Taptaptap has begun teasing a major update for Camera+. Called Camera+ 6, the update will bring about manual controls and several other new features.

The new manual controls are split into 2 groups: "Shutter Priority" and "Full Manual control." The former allows you to set your shutter speed, while the camera sets the ISO, and the latter allows you to customize both settings without any software intervention.
