If you were one of the few that's planning on getting a white iPhone 4 in the 32GB storage capacity from an AT&T store this Wednesday, you might not be able to.

According to an internal AT&T shipping invoice obtained by the folks over at Boy Genius Report, while AT&T stores are scheduled to receive the 16GB version of the white iPhone 4, the 32GB model is nowhere to be found on the invoice.

First Lawsuit Filed For iPhone Location-Tracking Debacle

I had a feeling this was coming. The very first lawsuit has been filed against Apple for the highly controversial tracking of location data from the iPhone and iPad.

According to Bloomberg, a lawsuit was filed against Apple on April 22nd in Tampa, Florida, at a federal court by iPhone user, Vikram Ajjampur, and iPad user, William Devito. The two iDevice users claim that Apple has been surreptitiously tracking the location of iPhone and iPad owners.

They claim to have filed the lawsuit in an effort to stop the alleged data collection by Apple.

Leaked Photos of iPhone 4S, Could Have Bigger Screen

As we get closer to WWDC this year, expect next generation iPhone 5 rumors to really pick up (as if they haven't already). Apple's annual developers conference is set for June 6th and promises to unveil iOS 5 and hopefully provide information on the next iPhone.

Although there has been no official announcement from Apple, there has been some interesting evidence floating around the web over the last few weeks regarding the next iPhone. The latest comes from MIC Gadget, who posted some pictures this morning of the proposed iPhone 4S...

Location Services Isn’t the Only Way that Apple Tracks Your iPhone

If you've been keeping up with the latest iPhone news, you've most likely heard about the infamous location database. At first, everyone thought that Apple was stalking your every move through a saved database of your GPS coordinates, but then some experts weighed in and said that simply wasn't the case.

The iPhone's GPS is operated through a system called Location Services. There was reason to believe that turning off Location Services would disable Apple's location database form storing your information, but that turns out to not be true.

Apple is going to collect your location data whether you like it or not, and your location gets sent to Apple at least twice a day...

Another Patent Hints at Apple-Branded T.V. Set

It seems like every other day we are hearing rumors of the iPhone 5 and what it'll look like, but not a peep on an impending refresh of the ATV2.

I guess that's understandable considering the iPhone sold nearly 20 million units last quarter and the Apple TV is believed to have sold just under a million.

But with all the evidence mounting that Apple is looking to enter the television market, how can you not be curious as to what the folks in Cupertino are up to? They gave the mp3 player and mobile phone market a booster shot, why couldn't they do the same for T.V. sets?

The latest patent filing uncovered by Patently Apple seems to point to an innovation to improve picture quality in LED Displays. The document describes a method of reducing color shift, a problem plaguing current LED systems.

It does this by reducing chromacity variations that cause color shifting, making the LED display brighter and clearer than ever. The patent mentions that the technology could provide superior FaceTime conferencing experiences, as well as improve photo clarity on larger displays.

The filing also notes that the innovation could be used in television sets. While the mention of a T.V. set could just be to emphasize the many possible applications of the technology, it still makes one wonder. What are those Apple engineers cooking up?

Although patents are more likely to wind up in a court room these days than consumer's hands, it's not hard to gather that we are going to see Apple refresh its TV line at some point. The real question is, when?

We know we are going to hear some more things about iOS 5 in June, and possible get some information on the next iPhone. Will Apple unveil a new Apple TV then , or wait until the September iPod event?

Auto Location Will Automatically Turn the iPhone’s Location Services On and Off

Are you still a little paranoid about the iPhone location-tracking file? Are you afraid that Apple or your carrier is tracking your every move?

Lucky for you, there's a new jailbreak tweak called Auto Location that automatically toggles your iPhone's Location Services on and off. When you're not using an app that requires GPS, Auto Location will turn the iPhone's Location Services off. When you open an app that requires Location Services, Auto Location turns it back on...

Steve Jobs: Apple Doesn’t Track iPhone Users

The media has been firing on all cylinders about the public uncovering of the iPhone's shady location database file. Speculation has been that Apple and/or network carriers are intentionally tracking the coordinates of iPhone users through the device's Location Services.

Experts on the issue have deemed the location database non-threatening, legal, and most likely a simple mistake on Apple's end. If you want anymore clarification, Steve Jobs himself has shed some light on this issue, calling it "false."

The State of Mobile Apps [Infographic]

Ever since Apple introduced the App Store in 2008, the world of mobile applications has never been the same. The App Store created the status quo for other mobile app marketplaces to replicate.

Years later, it's interesting to see The State of the Mobile App World. What are the top app platforms? Top mobile devices? How does the iPhone and the App Store play into these numbers?

Apple Fails Greenpeace “Dirty Data” Report

The environmental group known as Greenpeace has been keeping an eye on Apple's "Green" initiatives for quite some time. Back in 2006, the organization gave Apple an environmental rating of 2.7 out of 10. A year later, the group publicly protested the Mac-maker by shining green spotlights on Apple's flagship retail store in New York City.

More recently though, the group has commended Apple for its efforts to reduce its carbon footprint. They actually rated Apple the greenest electronics maker last year. How'd Apple do this time around?

China is the iPhone’s Fastest Growing Market

In Apple's Q1 earnings call, the company released very impressive numbers for its sales in the first three months of 2011. The iPhone's fastest growing market is China, with an over 250% increase in iPhone sales since this time last year.

China is a major hub for technology and smartphone innovation, and most iPhone knockoffs are Chinese-made. 10% of Apple's revenue comes from China (to the tune of about $5 billion). The iPhone is doing extremely well; now accounting for 8.3% of China's 850 million mobile customers.

Mysterious iOS Location Tracking File Likely Just a Glitch

We reported yesterday on the iPhone location tracking bug that has been buzzing around the internet for the last 48 hours. It's been making headlines from tech sites to blogs of privacy advocate groups, like Epic (Electronic Privacy Information Center).

For those that haven't heard: A hidden file in iOS versions 4.0 and above has been found that actually records the user's location fairly frequently. I'm not talking about Facebook requesting your location, I mean it records your GPS coordinates with a time stamp to a secret file. Was this in the EULA (End-User License Agreement)?
