Nothing is one of the hottest smartphone companies, founded just 6 years ago by Carl Pei, who previously co-founded OnePlus (which, by the way, is reportedly shutting down in the United States and Europe).
Nothing designs its phones and other products in London and focuses on the mid- to high-range segment in countries like India. My sister also has a Nothing phone (Phone 2a), and most people mistake it for an iPhone at first glance.
Coming to the Nothing Phone 4a, it has a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED display, a 50 MP rear camera, a 16 MP front shooter, an in-screen optical fingerprint scanner, and is powered by a 4-nanometer Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor.
Phone 4a comes with 128 GB storage paired with 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM. But there is also an India-only variant that boosts storage to 256 GB while keeping the same amount of RAM as the global version. A RAM upgrade to 12 GB would have been great.
The global variant has a 5,200 mAh battery, while the India-only version pumps it to 6,000 mAh.
Nothing promises 3 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches, which isn’t the best but is still decent for a non-top-tier phone.
The IP64-certified Phone 4a comes in three colorways: White, Black, and a web-exclusive Blue.
