Up until the last few weeks, the entire tech industry was having problems agreeing on an iPhone 5 launch date. With no official word from Apple, analysts and tech pundits have been forced to rely on rumors and speculation as sources of information.

We've heard everything from August to October as possible launch dates for Apple's next smartphone, but more recently the reports seem to be agreeing on a timeframe. It's looking more and more likely that the next iPhone will be available in early October...
