Cellhelmet, an iPhone case that comes with a replacement guarantee

There are many, many cell phone case manufactures around the globe offering a plethora of iPhone protection, however, there may only be one company offering to replace your iPhone if damaged using their case. Enter CellPig's "Cellhelmet," a case manufactured in the USA.

A start-up in Pennsylvania tried many different types of iPhone cases that offer substantial protection but were troubled by the bulk of such a case. Putting their heads together, they decided on a trim, yet protective thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) unit that offered quality protection, but was guaranteed to do its job, or, the iPhone repair is on them!

Here is your chance to win an awesome skin for your iDevice

Up to a few months ago, you would have had to pay me to put a skin on my iPhone. I used to think that it looked tacky and cheap. There was no way I would ever want to put one of those stickers on my beloved iPhone or iPad. That's until I met the fine folks of iCarbons.

I quickly changed my mind when Rosa from iCarbons started connecting with me on Twitter. Because we are both JailbreakCon sponsors, we started talking more and more and she offered to send me a few free skins just so I can have a feel of what they look like and what they are.

The rest is history - read my review for full details. I got hooked immediately by the quality and look of their skins. I got hooked so badly that I currently have 2 iPhones, 2 iPads and my MacBook Air sporting iCarbons skins.

Because I want to make sure everyone of you gets a chance to enjoy an iCarbons skin, we've set up this awesome giveaway for you...

The ChargeCard: an iPhone charger that fits in your wallet

This is pretty cool: inventors Noah Dentzel and Adam Miller have finally come up with a solution to the problem of having to lug around a spare iPhone cable.

The ChargeCard works just like your average 30-pin USB cable — it will charge your device and transfer data — but it's compact enough to fit in your wallet...

Apple granted patent for smaller charging port

Rumors that Apple has been looking to trim the size of the dock connector in future iOS products started back in February of this year. It's believed that the company is making the change in an effort to save space inside of its devices.

We've since seen the smaller dock connector on a number of "leaked" next-gen iPhone components, cases and more. And if that wasn't enough to convince you that the change is coming, check out this newly-granted patent...

More iPhone 5 cases surface that look just about right

CydiaBlog points us to a few purported cases for a sixth-generation iPhone, currently on sale over at TVC-Mall. These look just about right given the rumors calling for a taller iPhone with a two-tone design and a metal backplate that have been piling up recently. These cases also confirm leaked schematics and engineering samples which depict a FaceTime camera at the center and a smaller dock connector at the bottom.

It's been reported this morning that thousands of job seekers are currently lined up outside of Foxconn’s Chengdu, China plant, all vying for a number of summer job openings which could mean that Foxconn is ramping up hiring as it is getting ready to manufacture the iPhone 5, as the Japanese blog Macotakara suggested last week...

Twelve South unveils new black BookBook iPhone case

Twelve South's BookBook for the iPhone is arguably one of the most popular cases on the market today. Not only does it hold the handset, but it has a built-in wallet.

Jeff reviewed the original BookBook case for us last fall, calling it one of his favorite iPhone accessories. But up until now, the cover has only been available in brown...

More purported next-generation iPhone cases surface

The rumor mill has been pretty active this week, coughing up more information regarding Apple's next smartphone. In the last few days, we've seen not one, but two sets of pictures of purported engineering samples for the unreleased handset.

With that, it seems like the evidence is really piling up in favor of the taller, two-tone iPhone design that first surfaced back in May. And apparently that's enough for accessory-makers, who are already churning out large batches of next-gen iPhone cases...

Unlock your iPhone’s picture-taking potential with 3RDi

Between its 8MP sensor and internet connectivity, the iPhone 4S is one of the best point-and-shoot cameras around. It can download thousands of photo-editing apps and upload images to a number of services.

But the lack of interchangeable lenses, a weak flash, and other missing features means that the iPhone won't be replacing your DSLR anytime soon. Unless, of course, you had something like the 3RDi camera kit...
