T9Dialer brings T9 dialing support to the iPhone’s native Phone app

T9 dialing was initially introduced as a means of making text input easier on 3x4 numeric keypads, much like those found on old cell phones. Modern smartphones with their phone number hot-linking and advanced contact lists have all but phased out the need for such things, but to those wishing they could access T9 in the iPhone’s native Phone app: you’re in luck.

T9Dialer is a somewhat new jailbreak tweak released by iOS developer Jordan Koch (eskimo_dev) that ports full T9 functionality to the numeric keypad in the iPhone’s native Phone app.

Pasithea 2 clipboard manager for jailbroken devices gets powerful new features & support for iOS 14

One of the weakest links in iOS’ native multitasking capabilities is the clipboard management system, and perhaps unsurprisingly, there’ve been a lot of jailbreak tweaks released in recent memory to address this problem, such as CopyLog and Copypasta to name a few.

As for those who favor the classics over newer and more lightweight releases, Pasithea 2 by iOS developer Cannathea can provide a more full-fledged clipboard-access experience, and with native keyboard integration at that.

This tweak can hide apps from your Home screen

If you have a lot of apps on your Home screen that you don’t use as often as others, then you aren’t alone. The most common solution to this matter is to cram those apps into a folder; but if you’re OCD like I am, then you may not want to look at an unwanted folder icon either.

Here to help with this dilemma is a newly-released jailbreak tweak called HideYourApps by iOS developer Menushka Weeratunga. With this tweak, you can hide specified apps from your Home screen, eliminating the need to make an unwanted folder to house them.

Translomatic makes it easy to translate text to other languages in almost any app

If you occasionally stumble upon a text written in another language that you don’t understand, then you might be quick to use a third-party translation service such as Google Translate to get a better idea about what’s being said. But what if you never needed to leave the app you were in?

With the help of a newly-released jailbreak tweak dubbed Translomatic by iOS developer FoxfortMobile, you can now enjoy this type of integrated experience on your jailbroken handset in almost any app you use.

Clear unwanted screenshots from your Photo Library more quickly with Screender

I take so many screenshots every day that it isn’t even funny, and as you might come to expect, they clutter up my Camera Roll in seemingly no time at all.

Typically, I’ll delete all my excess screenshots when I’m finished with them, but a free jailbreak tweak called Screender by iOS developer Esquilliaims to make this process easier by implementing a screenshot delete function directly into iOS’ Control Center interface.

SelectionPlus upgrades iOS’ cruddy text-selection interface

iOS’ native text selection menu is somewhat cumbersome to use, and so it should come as no surprise that jailbreakers have requested alternatives to it for eons. With that in mind, jailbreak tweak developer Satvik has come to the rescue with a new free release dubbed SelectionPlus.

As you might recall from the native text selection menu, users would need to tap and hold before releasing to invoke a column-oriented interface. A setup like this isn’t particularly useful on an iPhone because the handset’s display isn’t particularly wide, and it sometimes necessitates several taps to move between all the options.

Modernize the Cydia app’s user interface a bit with cyder

There’s obviously a lot of controversy over Cydia vs. Sileo because the latter has been designed with a modern iOS aesthetic in mind. But those who prefer the tried and true Cydia over something that’s relatively young in comparison can still take advantage of jailbreak tweaks to make Cydia better.

One such release that grabbed our attention as of late was cyder by iOS developer CreatureSurvive, which brings a plethora of modern features to the official Cydia app by way of Cydia Substrate. Obviously, this means it only supports pre-A12(X) devices, but it’s worth checking out if you happen to have a supported handset in your possession.

Improve your iPhone’s clipboard management capabilities with Copypasta

It’s no secret that iOS’ native clipboard leaves a lot to be desired, and that should underscore why there’s been such an uptick in the number of clipboard manager-centric apps and jailbreak tweaks for iOS as of late.

Although we’ve come to appreciate much of what’s available already, we’re also excited to discuss a new free release called Copypasta by iOS developer Nepeta. Its ultra-clean interface paired with the lack of a price tag make it a compelling option for many.

Gesto supercharges your jailbroken iPhone’s App Switcher in incredible new ways

iOS’ App Switcher, love it or hate it, leaves a lot of wiggle room for improvement. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise to anyone that iOS developer Gabriele Filipponi and designer Alessandro Chiarlitti set out to improve it with the launch of a new jailbreak tweak called Gesto.

In a nutshell, Gesto augments your iOS handset’s App Switcher with powerful new features and integrations with the primary goal of making multitasking easier. And let us just say, based on our mind-blowing hands-on experience, this isn’t a tweak you’ll want to miss.

MissionControl augments Control Center with new app shortcuts and toggles

When it comes to using your mobile devices, including your iPhone, it seems like users can never have enough shortcuts. With that in mind, we’re particularly excited to show you a jailbreak tweak called MissionControl by iOS developer Dylan Duff.

As you might’ve noticed from the screenshot examples above, MissionControl adds customizable application shortcuts to the Control Center interface and lets you access a plethora of other useful options in the interim.

KillBackgroundXS lets you force-quit all App Switcher apps in one fell swoop

Closing out of all the applications in your App Switcher is generally frowned upon because it defeats the whole purpose of having apps suspended for faster loading times the next time you go to use them. On the other hand, some people just can’t help themselves.

If you fall under this category and you wish there was an easier way to close out of all your App Switcher’s apps in one fell swoop, then you just might take a liking to a jailbreak tweak release called KillBackgroundXS by iOS developer ichitaso.

YTStatus lets you access the Status Bar while enjoying YouTube videos in landscape mode

One of the things I’ve always disliked about the YouTube app is how elusive the Status Bar becomes when you begin watching a video in landscape orientation. Obviously, I wouldn’t want the Status Bar to be in the way while a video was playing, but I also don’t like being compelled to switch to portrait orientation to check the time.

iOS developer Karimo299 has devised the ultimate solution and released it in the form of a new free jailbreak tweak called YTStatus. As you can discern for yourself in the before and after screenshot examples embedded above, this tweak implements the native iOS Status Bar into YouTube’s own video controls interface.
