Searchy lets jailbroken iPhone users search the Phone app’s Recents list

With all the extravagant changes Apple seems to be making to the iOS mobile operating system with respect to recent updates, it remains to be seen why important things such as the native Phone app haven’t received new or useful functionality.

iOS developer MiRO92 recognized at least one way that the Phone app could be improved, and as such, created a jailbreak tweak dubbed Searchy.

macOS Monterey inspired “Waves” wallpapers for iPhone

Announced in the summer of 2021 at WWDC, macOS Monterey will be launching something this fall, most likely alongside brand new desktop hardware. The new hardware is expected to appear during an Apple media event in October or November.

With new software comes new wallpaper. This wallpaper collection is inspired by both macOS Monterey and macOS Big Sur. “Waves” wallpaper offers simple geometric shapes and a pleasing color palette.

Apple appeals ruling in Epic Games case that may delay App Store changes

Back in September, Judge Yvonne Gonzalez-Rogers came to a decision regarding the lawsuit against Apple brought by Epic Games. The latter wants change when it comes to the former's digital storefront, the App Store, and, by all accounts, earned itself a pretty big win in that regard. However, the judge's ruling also included many wins for Apple, too -- but the company has decided to appeal anyway.
