Quite the humorous story making its rounds this morning; apparently Steve Jobs was denied knighthood by the UK government for refusing to accept a prior speaking engagement.
The speaking engagement was at the annual conference for the Labour Party, a political party in the UK.

You have to give it to Gameloft and their "inspired" titles. They keep churning out unoriginal games and I'm quite guilty as I have bought and reviewed a couple as well… for example, Zombie Infection aka Resident Evil, N.O.V.A. 2 aka Halo, and now Starfront: Collision [iTunes link] aka Starcraft.
People at Gameloft must be seriously lacking in the creativity department but with Starfront they caught Blizzard snoozing and beat them to the punch by providing a great sci-fi RTS game for the iPhone...
Taiwanese website Apple.pro has allegedly leaked the dock connector and cable of Apple's next iPhone. If the images are true, not much has changed from the current dock setup.
There have been rumors that Apple will change the connection architecture of the next iPhone to something like MagSafe. But, according to Apple.pro (which is usually very reliable with Apple supply chain rumors), the same 30-pin connector that we all know and love will remain in the iPhone 5.
During an interview with Bernstein analyst Toni Sacconaghi, Apple COO and acting CEO, Tim Cook, again fueled rumors of a cheaper iPhone.
Cook mentioned that he wanted Apple to be a company “for everyone,” and not “just for the rich.”

Apple is reportedly testing an Android-like lockscreen for the next major version of iOS. Google's Android OS has a gesture-based "dots" lockscreen that allows users to unlock their phone by highlighting the dots in a pre-established pattern.
Apparently, Apple is borrowing from Android's lockscreen concept and including it in a future version of iOS. There have been complaints that the current iOS lockscreen is not secure enough, and there have been numerous ways of bypassing the iPhone's 4-digit password...

Following up on the report we brought you last night concerning the status of an iPhone 4 Unlock, the Dev Team has essentially confirmed those reports today.
@MuscleNerd, an integral member of the Dev Team, tweeted today that along with an iPhone 4 unlock, an unlock might also be possible for the 3G and the 3GS on some of the newer basebands.
The good news is that he went on to say that "[the iPhone 4] is 1st priority..."

Time and time again, we get our hopes up, only to come away disappointed.
Let's give Apple credit, they've done a decent job with keeping these basebands locked down for a significant amount of time, but the gates could be breached in the very near future...
