Last week we told you about a rumor that Siri might be available in Chinese, Japanese, Russian and other languages soon, which Apple had already promised on their Siri support page.
But today, new evidence came out that Siri is indeed going to support Japanese soon, as Siri herself was able to confirm...
Looking for a significant other that enjoys Apple products as much as you do? Well there's a dating site for that. Aptly-named Cupidtino, it's the first (and only) dating service that matches up Apple fanboys and fangirls.
The site has been around for quite some time, but we figured with today being Valentine's Day, why not mention it? So if you're still looking for that special person, and prefer someone from within the Apple community, you might want to check this out...
Apple has been on an absolute rampage since Tim Cook took over Steve Jobs' role of Apple's CEO last August. A lot of folks wondered if the company could maintain its dominance without the passionate founder at the helm.
And although most of what we are seeing right now is still a direct result of Jobs' efforts over the last decade or so, you have to admit that Cook is no slouch. But if you had any doubts that he was the right man for The Job, read this...
We listened in on the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference today as Tim Cook fielded some questions about the current state of Apple. Cook has spoken at the conference in the past, but this is his first time doing so as Apple's CEO.
Tim talked about everything from Apple's supply chain problems, which we covered earlier, to its plans for future iPhone growth. He also dropped a lot of interesting facts and insight, so if you didn't get a chance to listen to the call, here's our recap...
As most of you know, Apple has been catching a lot of flack recently regarding the poor working conditions at some of its overseas manufacturing plants. Last week, protestors delivered a petition with over 250,000 electronic signatures to the company calling for a change.
Tim Cook has already commented on the situation, saying that Apple is doing more than any other company in the industry to improve the working conditions of the factories in its supply chains. And today, the CEO reiterated the point at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference...
Last Summer marked the world's first ever jailbreak convention, MyGreatFest. Taking place in London, UK, the conference allowed hackers, developers, and fans to hang out and talk about one of their common passions — jailbreaking.
With appearances from the Chronic Dev Team, Saurik and other notable speakers, the first conference was a resounding success. And now under its new name, JailbreakCon, the team is looking to build on that success with a USA-based event...

Out of the box, Siri isn't much a music fan. But throw a few jailbreak tweaks here way, and she starts to love music. In fact, this latest tweak apparently makes her love lyrics.
Indeed, SiriLovesLyrics is a jailbreak tweaks for Siri that involves music. It allows you to query Siri for the lyrics of the currently playing song in your Music app, and outputs them in a clean interface so that you can sing along to your favorite songs.
Things are starting to look pretty bleak for Apple in China, at least in regards to its future iPad sales. The company recently lost a court battle with Proview, a computer monitor maker, who is claiming that it owns the iPad trademark in China.
Even though Apple is appealing the decision, retailers have already started removing iPads from their shelves. And according to a new report, Proview's lawyers are now trying to stop iPad shipments into the country as well...
Sara Dictation is a jailbreak tweak that allows you to have Siri-like dictation on a non-iPhone 4S device. This isn't the first time we've seen a tweak that allows this — siri0us immediately comes to mind — but it is certainly worth trying.
If "Sara" sounds familiar, that's because it is. It's from the same developer that brought you the Siri alternative named Sara, which we covered last week.
Is there a new game of cat and mouse brewing? Reports from non-iPhone 4S Siri users indicate that there may be.
Apparently, Apple has altered its requirements for a successful Siri connection, adding a new token to the mix that has caused problems for those who connect to a 3rd party Siri server on non-iPhone 4S devices.
Are you one of them?
2012 has been pretty good to Apple thus far. Since the new year started, the company has announced record-breaking sales and revenue from its previous quarter, was named top smartphone manufacturer in the world, and has watched its stock price climb past $500 per share.
And then yesterday, the iPhone-makers received another accolade. According to the 2012 Harris Poll Reputation Quotient, a survey that measures corporate reputation for US brands and companies, Apple is now the highest-regarded company in America...
