This tweak inverts the respring and reboot screen colors on your iPhone

Typically, on any black-colored iOS device, the respring or reboot screen is going to be black with a white Apple logo; and conversely, any white-colored iOS device will have a white respring or reboot screen with a black Apple logo.

Although some people may like the small variance Apple has given their devices, others may like to have the option to switch it up for themselves.

For those people, a new jailbreak tweak called InvertRespring will invert the respring and reboot screen's background and Apple logo colors to their opposites, and is now available for free in Cydia.

Apple support document addresses activation issues some users may encounter after updating to iOS 9.3

Apple has released a support document Wednesday night to address an issue where some iOS users are unable to activate their devices after updating to iOS 9.3, a software version released earlier this week.

Most reports of the issue seem to come from iPad 2 owners, although a quick search online shows that some iPhone users were also affected. In this support document, Apple offers a few options to try and remedy the problem.

Watch out, PayPal: Apple Pay is reportedly coming to websites this year

Apple's mobile payment solution for the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch will be coming to mobile websites later this year, reports Re/code. The technology blog explains that people will be able to pay for goods and services purchased in online stores through the Safari browser on iPhones and iPads that possess Apple’s TouchID fingerprint technology.

Apple Pay is currently supported in physical retail stores and select third-party apps that have elected to implement support for the technology with In-App Purchases, but not on websites. If true, this move will aim Apple Pay squarely at the likes of PayPal, Square and other established online payments service providers.

Apple has 6 cloud infrastructure projects to prevent unauthorized snooping

Amid reports that it's shifting some of the iCloud services to Google’s Cloud Platform, The Information is reporting that Apple has a total of six projects underway related to boosting its cloud infrastructure. One of them, code-named Project McQueen, calls for custom data storage systems.

Apple suspects that third-party servers that power iCloud might have been intercepted during shipping and that someone may have added additional chips and firmware to them “in order to make them vulnerable to infiltration,” as per the report.

Apple Music and Vice release new ‘The Score’ docu-series about local music scenes

Apple has extended its partnership with cultural news network Vice to release a new docu-series on local music scenes around the world, TechCrunch reported Wednesday. The six-episode series will be called “The Score,” with the first episode taking a look at a techno scene in South Africa and hip hop coming straight out of Minnesota’s Native American nations.

Subsequent episodes will cover local music scene in Brazil, Iceland, Vietnam and other countries, with accompanying playlist for each episode being promoted on Apple Music.

Pangu Team releases Apple TV jailbreak

Following up on their promise, the Pangu Team has now released a jailbreak for the fourth-generation Apple TV. The tool can be downloaded from our Downloads page and instructions on how to use it will soon be available on iDB.

QuickCenter brings 3D Touch features to Control Center

Control Center is one of the more useful parts of iOS where you can easily toggle on or off some of your most important features, and where you can access shortcuts to your device's most useful utilitarian apps.

Unfortunately, Apple wasn't thinking three-dimensionally when they launched the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, and as a result, Control Center doesn't take advantage of the 3D Touch display. That's where a new jailbreak tweak release called QuickCenter, which can be had from Cydia for $0.99, comes to the rescue.
