Watch Apple’s unreleased social ad for the ill-fated AirPower wireless charger

The ad free (Unofficial) Apple Archive that launched today is a rabbit hole of awesomeness not just for true fans but for everyone interested in Apple history. The best thing about this project — it comes with some interesting materials that never saw the light of day, like this unreleased social media advertisement for the (also unreleased) AirPower wireless charger.

Why Apple’s position matters on strong iPhone encryption

Apple popped up in the news this week after both U.S. Attorney General William Barr and President Trump publicly called for the company to help unlock iPhones used by the Saudi Air Force cadet accused of perpetrating a terror attack on a U.S. Navy base in Pensacola, FL in December. Lyricify fetches song lyrics for any Now Playing song

Not everyone cares about song lyrics, but if you’re the type of person who likes to follow along with whatever it might be that you’re listening to, then we have no doubt that you’ll enjoy a newly released jailbreak tweak dubbed Lyricify – originally by iOS developer ConorTheDev and more recently passed to iOS developer Renaitare.

As depicted in the screenshot examples, Lyricify was beautifully designed to display your favorite song lyrics directly on your handset’s Lock screen in an Apple-esque manner. With that in mind, the tweak looks and feels native, making it feel both familiar and easy to use.

Enter Amandus, a new and free jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Muirey03 and designer @dumbhandle123. This tweak, which has been made especially for Apple Pay-supported iPhones, redesigns the Apple Pay payment interface to appear as it does in the screenshot examples above.
