Infiniboard updated with Iconoclasm and OverBoard support

In what seems like the first bit of news from the jailbreak scene in quite a while, Chpwn announced today that an update for his popular Infiniboard tweak is now available in Cydia.

The utility, which allows you to add an unlimited amount of icons to each springboard page, now works with Sakurina's Iconoclasm and Ryan Petrich's OverBoard tweak...

Nito Installer released for jailbroken ATVs

The jailbroken Apple TV community has been awfully quiet as of late. There still hasn't been any news on the ATV3 jailbreak, and there may never be, and innovation on the ATV2 front has sort of stalled.

FireCore releases aTV Flash (black) 1.5 with several updates

FireCore announced today that it has released a new version of its popular Apple TV app, aTV Flash (black). The update brings the software to version 1.5, and includes several new additions.

Among the new features is NFS streaming and a revamped media player. And of course there is a laundry list of bug fixes and performance improvements. Full changelog after the break...

We told you yesterday that JailbreakCon 2012, set to take place in San Francisco this time around, is to go ahead on September 29th. We also told you about a raft of speakers who will aim to try and replicate the success of last year's event, held in London. Last Summer marked the world's first ever jailbreak convention, MyGreatFest. Taking place in London, UK, the conference allowed hackers, developers, and fans to hang out and talk about one of their common passions — jailbreaking.

aTV Flash (black) Update Brings Automated Backups and More

The folks over at FireCore have been really busy this year improving their aTV Flash (black) software for the Apple TV. Last month they released version 1.2 with a number of fixes. And today they're back with even more improvements.

Photo Booth Ported to the iPhone 4S

When Apple released the iPad 2 last year, the company boasted its new dual-core processor and front and rear-facing cameras. These improvements to the iPad 2 meant that App Store developers could release more elaborate and intensive applications for the tablet. Hackers Get iOS Applications Running on Apple TV

pod2g Shows iOS 5 Untethered Jailbreak on Video
