Apple has been showing relevant concert data in Spotlight search starting with iOS 17, and now the company has brought a similar feature to the latest version of Shazam for iOS. The updated software will now recommend live performances in your vicinity, based on your recognition history in the app and location.

Shazam Concerts lets you buy tickets for live shows

Shazam for iOS has been bumped to version 17.0 on the App Store. While Shazam rarely mentions new feature additions in release notes accompanying these updates, Musically first spotted the new Concerts section.

The app allows you to find nearby concerts, save tour favorite ones to revisit later, set reminders for upcoming live performances that interest you, as well as viewing ticketing details. Buying tickets for live shows is also supported.

You’ve been able to browse nearby concerts as well as find tickets on sale and more since Shazam’s March update. But now those capabilities have been consolidated under the new Concerts section along with purchasing functionality.

How to view concert information on Shazam

Concert information shows up in several places, including when Shazaming a song, searching for it in the app or browsing artist pages.
