JoyPixels brings a new Emoji font to MacDirtyCow & kfd devices

If you use a lot of Emojis when you type to people and you’re interested in an enhanced Emoji font for your device, then you might take a liking to a new add-on called JoyPixels by iOS developers HackZy and PoomSmart for the MacDirtyCow and kfd exploits for iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.1.2 and 16.0-16.6 beta 1 respectively.

This add-on simply replaces the stock Emoji font on your device with one based on JoyPixels. It makes your Emojis look different than they would out of the box on a stock iOS or iPadOS device, giving you something new and refreshing to look at as opposed to the same old style and appearance we’ve been using for years.

JoyPixels doesn’t require a jailbreak to use, as it works on its own with the MacDirtyCow and kfd exploits on devices vulnerable to them (running key firmware versions). It’s worth noting, however, that jailbreakers who have a vulnerable firmware can still use this add-on even though a jailbreak isn’t required.

Those interested in trying JoyPixels out for themselves can acquire the add-on from the Misaka package manager app. It can be found by navigating to Misaka’s NEWs tab and scrolling down until it appears.

If you’re not already using Misaka, then you can follow one of the tutorials below to learn more about how to install it using our preferred methods:
