Welcome back to another episode of our Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have some awesome picks for you including a free workout journal, a haircut companion and a digital reading buddy. And as always, we’ve selected a great game for you to check out.
Terrible name aside, Stengthic is actually a pretty solid free workout journal. Whether you are doing a powerlifting 5×5 workout or a HIIT workout, or something else, the app’s flexible set-based workouts allow you to create any workout tailored to your goals. Features include built-in timers, stopwatches and even plate calculators.
So now that you’re feeling good after your workout, why not get a haircut so you can look good too? And ClipSaver can help you with it. The app allows you to rate, review and take photos of your haircuts, and you can even grab photos of haircuts you like so you can show your barber. There are also some nice Barber-exclusive features that help you manage your customers and grow your business.
Cubox – Reading & Notes
This app has been around for a while but I don’t think we’ve ever mentioned it here. Cubox is an app for collecting, reading and researching your daily information. Save articles from your favorite websites to read later, organize them with ease, annotate them with your own thoughts, and share them with your friends and colleagues. Looks great, works great.
Looking for a new game this weekend? Check out Homeworld Mobile, where you’ll embark upon a journey to settle an unexplored galaxy. This true 3D MMO title offers 3D real time strategy combat, next-gen graphics, a rich storyline and various multiplayer game modes that allow for alliances and other large scale initiatives.
