Jota, Cutouts, DecideOn and other apps to check out this weekend

It’s time again for another episode of our Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have some great selections for you including a link-saver, custom sticker reactions and an app for deciding who goes first in a group. And as always, we’ve picked a great game for you to check out.

Jota – Save links easily

Jota is a neat little utility that makes it super easy to save, manage and share your favorite links. You can organize your links into categories, create lists of curated links, and even add your friends as followers of your lists. It’s funny, I could have sworn I included this app in a recent roundup, but a cursory search didn’t yield any evidence of that. Anyway, Jota everybody!

Cutouts: React with stickers

This is kind of cool. For those of you on iOS 16, Cutouts is an app that makes custom reaction stickers. Simply snap a photo and drag it onto a message in the Messages app. You can use the photo as is, or you can use iOS 16’s Remove Background feature to create your own sticker. If a picture is worth 1,000 words, why not send a sticker?

DecideOn – Who goes first?

Here’s another fun one for the weekend. It’s called DecideOn, and as the name suggests, the app was designed to help you ‘decide on’ who goes first. Need to make a beer run? Taking turns slapping each other in the face? Forget old games like yelling not it or touching your finger to your nose. Use DecideOn. The app offers a number of fun little games to make the choice for you.

Road Redemption Mobile

Road Redemption is an action racing game set in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by a ruthless dictator. Think Mad Max meets Road Rash. Features include a deep motorcycle fighting system with grabs and counters, unlockable and upgradable characters, bikes and weapons, and more. No adds or micro transactions, just a single IAP to unlock the full game after you’ve tried it. The popular PC game makes its way to mobile!
