Check out the trailer for the animated film ‘Luck’ ahead of its Apple TV+ premiere on August 5

Luck, one of the major animated films from production house Skydance Animation slated for Apple TV+, finally has a release date. And with the streaming date now less than a month away, Apple TV+ has shared the first official trailer for the upcoming family film.

Today, Apple TV+ has shared the first official trailer for the upcoming family-friendly animated film, Luck. It tells a fantastical story centered around Sam Greenfield (played by Eva Noblezada), who is apparently the unluckiest person on the planet. However, as luck would have it, she eventually finds herself in the Land of Luck, where she’ll get a chance to turn her luck around.

Of course, hijinks ensue, and a colorful cast of creatures will be tasked to help Greenfield on her journey. You can check out the official trailer above.

Along with Noblezada, Luck also stars Jane Fonda, Flula Borg, Simon Pegg, Lil Rel Howery, Colin O’Donoghue, Whoopi Goldberg, Adelynn Spoon, and John Ratzenberger. The film is set to debut on Friday, August 5, 2022.

Apple TV+ and Skydance Animation’s other major film, Spellbound, is set to release later this year, in November. So we’re still waiting on the first official trailer for that one.

Will you be checking out Luck when it starts streaming in early August?
