Posture Pal, Magic Piano: AR, Reams and other apps to check out this weekend

Welcome back to another edition of our Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have a digital posture coach, an AR app for learning the piano, and an innovative RSS reader. And as always, we’ve selected a great game for you to check out.

Posture Pal – Improve Stance

This is pretty inventive. Posture Pal is an app that can team up with your AirPods to help you track and correct your posture. Fixing your posture can have several health benefits, including alleviating pain from head/neck/back. Works with AirPods Pro and newer, as well as other motion-sensing headphones.

Magic Piano: AR

Play your favorite songs on any piano using augmented reality with Magic Piano. The app gives you a live video feed of your piano/hands and then overlays keys, finger position and other instructions. I think you’d need some kind of stand to really get the most out of this, but still very cool nonetheless.

Reams

Typical RSS readers are boring, Reams is not. The app uses finely wrought algorithms and a sprinkling of AI to turn your RSS feed into an immersive magazine. Every story has a unique layout. Use it with Feedbin, Feed Wrangler, or its own built-in RSS service. Also features a share extension, dark mode support and more.

Selma and the Wisp

Looking for a different kind of game to play this weekend? Check out Selma and the Wisp. It’s a platform game with an eerie vibe that’s densely packed with logical puzzles and unexpected obstacles. The graphics are low-poly, but the animations are spectacular and the gameplay is innovative.
