In this week’s episode of our Apps of the Week roundup we have a developer console for Shortcuts, a plant-tracker, and a unique crypto wallet. And as always, we’ve selected a great new game for you to check out.
Logger for Shortcuts
Logger is the first developer console designed for Apple’s Shortcuts app, enabling you to see what’s going on under the hood. As the name implies, it logs what’s happening when your shortcuts run, so if one fails you can go in and see exactly what went wrong. Power users only, but impressive none the less.
Plant Hunter: Track your plant
Here is another fairly niche app. It’s called Plant Hunter, and it allows you to track the care and growth of your plants. Did you fertilize a plant today? Mark it down. Water? Mark it down. Over time you can see how your care routine affects each plant’s growth.
Steakwallet
Ok somehow we ended up with 3 niche apps today, but I’m not mad at it. If you’re into the crypto space at all, or considering, check out Steakwallet. It’s a crypto wallet that has staking (earn interest off your crypto) backed right into the app. It’s also one of the best designed mobile wallets I’ve seen to date.
Sparrows
Mahjong meets Scrabble! In Sparrow you use the available tiles to spell words and uncover more letters. Combine special tiles for double/triple letters and double word bonuses to rack up the points. There are 5 different game modes to play through and Game Center support for leaderboards and achievements.
