Wakefully, Center Stage, Forfeit and other apps to check out this weekend

It’s time for another edition of our Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have a dream analyzer, a trading card assistant, and a unique new task app. And as always, we’ve selected a great new game for you to check out.

Wakefully

Have you ever wanted to take a deeper look at your dreams? Check out Wakefully. The app offers a host of tools, including a journal, mood tracker, and AI to help you analyze your dreams. Now I know having artificial intelligence analyze your dreams sounds like a prequel to the Terminator, but hey, it may help some folks.

Center Stage

So this is pretty cool. With the recent rebirth of card collecting, Center Stage makes perfect sense. The app works as a visual search engine for trading cards, so a quick photo allows you to look up a card’s value. Works for all major sports cards, and support for Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering is on the way.

Forfeit

Here’s another interesting one. Forfeit is the task manager that has you put up or shut up. Just tell the app when you are going to complete your task and how much money you’ll put on the line. I’m a little foggy on how the verification process works, but if you don’t complete your task, your money gets donated to charity.

Micro RPG

Help! Monsters have invaded the kingdom, and all of the knights are gone on holiday. Only Theobald, a lowly peasant, can save the country. Micro RPG is a turn-based game combing reflex, strategy and luck. The game features charming graphics, unique gameplay, and of course an upgradeable weapons system.
