Apple seeds second betas of iOS 15.3, iPadOS 15.3, watchOS 8.4, and tvOS 15.3 to developers

Back in December of 2021, Apple seeded the first betas of iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 to developers. Since then, the company went quiet on the beta seeding front. Which certainly makes sense, with the holiday excitement in full swing at the end of the month.

But, now that 2022 is in full swing, it’s time to march ahead. Which means a new beta for the upcoming updates to iOS and iPadOS is now available. For developers, of course. Apple has seeded the second betas iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 today, moving towards a public update that will arrive at some point in the future.

The beta is free for registered developers, and they can download and install the new prerelease software as an over-the-air (OTA) update right now. The new software can be installed via Apple’s official developer portal as well.

As is par for the course, this is prerelease software that’s meant for testing purposes only. While this is a developer beta, Apple will likely seed a corresponding public beta in the near future.

As far as what’s new, there likely isn’t much. If anything, really. The first beta was seeded with no major new features discovered in the software. That will probably be the case with this latest beta as well. However, if there are any new discoveries made, we will update this post accordingly.

Apple also seeded the second betas of watchOS 8.4 and tvOS 15.3 to developers.
