Apple seeds first betas of iOS 15.3, iPadOS 15.3, watchOS 8.4, and tvOS 15.3 to developers

It might be Friday, and it might be one week before Christmas swings around, but that isn’t stopping Apple from getting a new beta build out there into the wild. Apple is looking to bring iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 to the public in the near future. Which means the beta process must go on.

Late on Friday, Apple seeded the first betas of iOS 15.3, iPadOS 15.3, watchOS 8.4, and tvOS 15.3 to registered developers. It’s free software, of course, and developers can head to the official developer portal to download and install the prerelease software.

This new software is meant primarily for developers, but Apple will likely seed a corresponding public beta in the near future. Still, this is the first beta and it’s likely going to be a little rough around the edges.

As far as what’s new, that remains to be seen. The software was just released, after all. It’s possible that the update does bring with it new features, but that doesn’t seem likely. The beta build leaked earlier today and early eyes on it suggested there were only small tweaks to the mobile operating system.

However, if that changes we will update this post accordingly.

Meanwhile, Apple also seeded the first betas of watchOS 8.4 and tvOS 15.3 as well.
