Everlog, Dogether, Overflow, and other apps to check out this weekend

Apps of the week

For this week’s episode of our Apps of the Week roundup we have a very minimal journaling app, a shared list app, and an app for recording reactions to current events. And as always, we’ve selected two great new games for you to check out.

Everlog

It’s been a while since we’ve mentioned a new journaling app on the roundup so here we are. Everlog is essentially a sharp-looking notes app pretending to be a journaling app. It’s very basic with only a handful of features, but they say the best diary/journal app is the one you’ll actually use, so why not try this one?

Dogether

Every time I read that name, I giggle. Dogether. Anyway it’s a shared list app that allows you to collaborate with friends, families or even work colleagues. You can create and edit tasks and projects, and invite others to join your projects with add/edit privileges. Works for grocery lists, bucket lists and group planning.

Overflow – Reaction Videos

Overflow is the easiest way to record and share a video reaction to anything on the web. Automatically combines two screen recordings in one to show what you are browsing through or playing, along with your reaction to it. Then you can quickly share your video to TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram Stories, iMessage and more.

Ordesa

Looking for something different this weekend? Check out Ordesa. They’re calling it a ‘unique sensory experience.’ It’s essentially an interactive movie where you help the characters solve a haunted mystery. Tilt your device to move around the scenes, enjoy the bewitching original soundtrack, and let the story take you away.
