If you plan on using the new, more advanced Siri Shortcuts on your iPhone or iPad, you may want to check out a batch of 300 custom icons to help spruce up the experience.

Today, MacStories was gracious enough to release 300 new custom Home screen Shortcuts icons for the iPhone and Pad. These new options are available across dozens of categories, including task management, documents, and more. Apple already has its set defaults, but these additional options give more customization for iOS users.

Designer Silvia Gatta worked with MacStories to get the new custom icons, bringing beautiful options to users.

We created the set to complement Apple’s default glyphs and offer more options for Shortcuts power users. I personally went through my list in the MacStories Shortcuts Archive, as well as popular shortcuts from Reddit and the community, and tried to come up with icons that would better represent each shortcut. The icons were designed with a modern, rounded look and subtle drop shadows.

You will need to have iPadOS 13.1 and iOS 13.1 (which Apple just released) installed on your supported devices for these custom Home screen Shortcuts to work properly.

To use these custom icons, you’ll need to do the following: visit MacStories and download the new custom icon pack directly from the site, and then unzip the folder from within the Files app. Next, open the Shortcuts app and tap on the circle with the three dots on a specific Shortcut, then tap on the circle with the three dots in the top-right corner.

You’ll see an option for “Add to Home Screen”, which you’ll select. There will be a blue-outlined icon that you’ll select and then tap “Choose File”. You’ll then choose the custom icon you want to use, then save it to the Home screen.

MacStories‘s custom icon Home screen Shortcuts icon pack is available now for $14.99.
