Why DIY fans are obsessed with TikTok [sponsor]

Sometimes, a quick Google search just won’t cut it when you’re trying to figure out how to do something (i.e. when interpreting your Ikea assembly instructions feels like you’re in the next installment of The Da Vinci Code). For those times when you need a little extra instruction, or those DIY project weekends you geek out over, there’s no better platform to go to than TikTok.

DragEnabler enables iPad-like Drag and Drop functionality on iPhones at no extra cost

iPad users have long been able to enjoy multitasking-centric features such as Drag and Drop and multi-window interfaces, but iPhone users have been somewhat unlucky in this department, mostly because Apple limits these features to the iPad since it’s marketed as a mobile productivity device.

If you’re jailbroken, however, then you don’t need to play by these asinine limitations. A newly-released and free jailbreak tweak dubbed DragEnabler by iOS developer Skitty permits iPad-like drag and drop functionality on unsupported devices, including the iPhone and iPod touch.

Hapticker offers haptic feedback for most of what you do in iOS

Admittedly, I’m the type of person who enjoys an ounce of haptic feedback when operating my iPhone, and for that reason, I’m always testing out the latest haptic feedback-related jailbreak tweaks as they surface.

One of the newest add-ons in this department is one called Hapticker by iOS developer Soh Satoh, and from what we can gather, it provides haptic feedback for just about anything in iOS that you would ever want it for.

Learn new languages with a lifetime subscription to Mondly

Learning a new language can be hard work, especially when you do it the traditional way. Classes either move too slow or too fast, and you rarely get the individual attention and feedback that language acquisition requires. The old way of practicing involves rote memorization and tedious hours spent with a textbook. There's a reason why so many people took two years of French in college but can't even ask where the bathroom is.

Wallpapers of the week: Earth

The big globe we all call home, is quite striking. As Sir David Attenborough claims, "the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living." In this Earth wallpaper collection, we capture just a slice of that sentiment for iPhone and iPad.

Sileo will migrate to Swift over the course of the next several updates

If you’re using either the iOS 11-based Electra jailbreak or the iOS 12-based Chimera jailbreak, each published by the Electra Team, then you just might have some exciting news ahead.

The Sileo Team announced just this morning that an upcoming slew of updates to the Sileo package manager will migrate the app from an Objective-C backbone to Apple’s Swift programming language instead:

Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Assistant+, Incoming Call LivePhoto, Shenmue, and more

With @0ptimo updating the BigBoss repository to be compatible with the Sileo package manager, and teasers coming from all the major players in the jailbreak community as of late, it's a great time to own a pwned handset.

In this roundup, we’ll discuss all of this past week’s jailbreak tweak releases in one convenient place. As usual, we’ll kick things off by discussing our favorite releases in detail and then we’ll outline the rest of them afterward.

Give your 3D Touch menus a makeover with Baylor

You can press firmly on your Home screen’s app icons on any 3D Touch-compatible handset to access handy shortcuts pertaining to that specific app, and while they can be useful at times, it’s equally valid that Apple provides little or no customizability in this department.

If you’re in the market for a way to make your handset’s 3D Touch menus stand out from the rest of the crowd, then you just might come to appreciate a newly-released jailbreak tweak called Baylor by iOS developer dpkg_.
